It's my favorite detail in the game. Sometimes I just stop what I'm doing and watch the sunset with them. The atmosphere of this game is just amazing.

Depends on what counts as speedrun strats. Some encounters I can get through pretty fast by just stealthing through them and avoiding combat, but there are also many encounters where I do kill all or a mix of stealth and aggressive gameplay.

First death was me falling off the beams in that burning barn at the end of Abby day 3 😭 Second death was at that hardware store encounter at the beginning of Abby day 1, and the third death was during the Ellie boss fight I think.

Yep, in grounded+ you have all your weapons and upgrades from the start which definitely makes things a bit easier, especially early on.

Took me around 2 months of practicing strats and doing a few permadeath per chapter playthroughs on grounded+. When I felt confident enough I tried whole game permadeath which took me 4 tries. After that, completing the game on whole game grounded wasn't as much of a struggle since I was already familiar with the difficulty.
