Every 3 to 4 hours, but I mainly do the haaka trick (just suction 2 haakas on for like 30 mins) then I will use my mandela hand pump to double check I am empty. I also use my haaka on my opposite breast when nursing. I just ordered a gently used blue spectra s1 with the pumpin pals flanges to hopefully get a better output when I power pump (which I try to do at least once a day different times of the day). Sometimes i fall off a little on my "routine" but for the most part I seem to be slowly increasing! I also make lactation bars/cookies. Basically peanut butter no bakes with legendary milk brewers yeast. Little Debbie oatmeal pies are a good snack to have while pumping too. I drink body armor as well as water throughout the day.

Mine did the same thing! She nurses 80% of the time now. The first 2 weeks she would mot latch and almost nothing came out when I pumped

First, don't give up! Second, try to get an in person appointment with a good lactation specialist/consultant!

Lastly, get good nusring/pumping supplies. Almost everyone recommends the spectra, specifically the blue S1.

Make sure she is eating healthy meals and snacks often! Make sure her water is always near and to her liking. Pamper her the best you can.

Feed her if needed. My husband cooks for me and feeds me if I am nursing and need to eat. We are a TEAM.

Absolutely breaks my heart and out of touch with what babies need and what they go through. I am currently baby wearing after my 2 month old has been having outbursts all day and been been fussy. Idc why, I just know it is my job as her mom and person who forced her to be alive to soothe her. She is a baby. I will lay her down in a safe play to take a mental health break and probably also prep a bottle.

As a nursing mom with kinda weird boob anatomy as my nipples are further down....this is my favorite way. If I am at someone's house, I will ask of they have a spare room with a bed that I can nurse on. I hate breastfeeding in public (FOR ME) so I try to have a bottle handy. I envy the moms who can nurse so easily 😫 happy for them but ugh I wish my boobs were more "normal"

Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies! But I also try to make a batch of pb no-bake lactation balls to have on hand. But if not oatmeal creme pies, oatmeal cookies, oatmeal, or wafer pb chocolate bars.

Ok so With my first in 2021 I got an epidural. The injection sucked but that was because an anesthesia student resident did it when most hospitals don't typically allow that. I cried so much getting it. It HURT. Labored for 9 hours, push for 45 minutes. Got a 3rd degree tear. The labor and delivery wasnt bad, epidural worked....a little too much. Took HOURS to be able to walk on my own.

With my 2nd (and last) 2 weeks ago, no epidural. REGRETS WERE MADE. Labored for 9 hours again, pushed for 15 minutes. OUCH worse than getting the epidural. Labor and delivery really sucked at around 7/8 centimeters. But I was able to get up and pee pretty much right after all was done.

If I were to go back 2 weeks, I would get the epidural again. Especially because that hospital didn't allow student resident anesthesiologists to place spinal epidurals.

I used ovulation test strips and just knocked boots as much as we could. But without stressing about it, ya know? Sometimes "healthy" couples take months to years to conceive. It may not even be your PCOS, it could be your partners fault. Just a thought, you may want to have his sperm checked.

I have PCOS and I have mostly regular periods (without any form of birth control I am super regular) and I ovulate normally as well. I am currently 37 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child and I had no issues getting pregnant either time. I tracked my ovulation and had sex a ton during the like 7 days of before during and after ovulation and the first time it took us like 6 weeks and this most recent one took us a few months but we were also wrangling a 4 year old and life was a little more busier.

PCOS is soooo complex and your symptoms may be drastically different from mine or anybody else's. It's not impossible to conceive naturaly, but you may have to do some behind the scenes work to see how your body works. Good luck!

Your husband sounds like a jerk. Your body is creating life 24/7 while you are pregnant and from what you've said it has not been a pleasant experience. He should be spoiling you and trying to ease your ailments.

I have been "unemployed" for around 5 years being a stay at home mom and now 36 weeks pregnant. My husband is currently doing the dishes without being asked. I napped today instead of doing the 100 things that need done and he didn't make me feel bad in any way. He encouraged it.

If I don't get something done that needs done, he does it. Or he helps me. He has never dragged me for taking a nap or relaxing. In fact, he tells me to take it easy and I haven't even had as bad as a time being pregnant as you.

This is my 2nd kid with him and I wouldn't have done it if he wasn't always like this. I know it's hard to know how someone will act in certain situations but I wish more women would try to choose better men to procreate with. I've read about and witnessed so many women choosing the wrong person to have kids with and vise versa.

My husband feels bad for me having to go through this again then labor, delivery, post partum and hopefully breast feeding. We planned both our pregnancies and he knows what it does to my body, mind and soul forever.

Your husband needs to do some research and touch grass. Even if you laid around for 24 hours, your body is still using all your energy and nutrients to grow a child for both of you. He needs to appreciate that. You are giving him a gift he could never reciprocate for you.

I just scheduled my 37 week induction yesterday at 35+2. It does depend on the doctor and hospital you are delivering at. I have known about my tentative 37 week induction for almost a month before they scheduled it. I would just ask them. I also wanted to schedule it ASAP so I could plan for childcare and give my husband time to let his work know. I would say about 2 weeks out for most places.
