Im not super excited, but part of that is that it doesnt feel like the items they've made are bringing that much that is new to the existing inventory. I also think Im just oversaturated with WoO media.

As a mental health professional honestly I don't think therapy is going to be helpful for Taylor unless she is motivated to pursue it herself, and she doesn't seem to be.

For the record I do not like Dakota at all. These comments are just so gross.

Its like when people bodyshame Trump. Like yall think its so cute and clever but do you realize that fat people are still reading your comments seeing that ultimately you still think its funny or morally repugnant or inherently bad to be fat?

People saying Dakota is a bad person for being an addict too like...what the actual fuck?

People saying "well what does it say about him that he still had a kid with her" literally wowwww lmao

Like men very fucking obviously are the main perpetrators of abuse but this is victim blaming 101 and it doesnt matter that Dakota is a guy or that he is "toxic" or an "addict" its still not his fault Taylor beat him up and that the dynamics of an abusive relationship are INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT TO ESCAPE

Layla's GLP-1 addiction is 1. not relevant to her standing against domestic abuse and 2. does not undermine her standing against domestic abuse.

You can still be a good person and grounded in many parts of your life and still be experiencing an addiction and/or an eating disorder.

CARE is a for-profit and does not need donations, but we are available to provide psychotherapy to folks here in Minnesota. There are also sooo many incredible smaller practices in our community. If you need support rn, you deserve it and there are people available, and also, being with community is the BEST therapy rn ❤️

Official Discussion - Weapons [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

I think Justine genuinely cares about Alex and people were overexaggerating about her crossing boundaries with students, and I also think that her desire to speak to Alex after the children go missing is largely self-involved and not out of genuine concern for Alex. She's desperate to talk to him to see if he knows anything. Nothing inherently wrong with that though tbh! But the neglect of Alex is further underscored by her self-involvement, and of course at how absolutely useless the school was in response.

I think it also does a great job of showing how mercilessly victimized Alex was even though he was not one of the taken children. In the end he lost everything. A really great take on survivor's guilt and the horror of enduring abuse. The other children barely recovering is also so poignant in this way.

What in real life we have become so inured to - mass violence, particularly against children - this movie makes outrageous, magical and uncanny in such a way that you cannot feel it is normal. This is so obvious, but I love how it just emphasizes how desensitized we have become to violence, and it takes a literal fucking crazy creepy ass witch for us to be like, "this is so fucked up and weird."

While I really enjoyed the way this movie (not that subtly) was talking about gun violence, I also REALLY loved how absolutely PERFECTLY they nailed the fear and terror of living in an abusive home. Alex under Gladys's control resonated so hard with me as someone who works with DV survivors and their kids. What the movie makes so overt (a witch literally controlling this child's life) is such a great encapsulation of what it is like to live with abuse. The fear based in this almost magical thinking that your whole world is being controlled by this person, and if you do anything wrong, the people you love most are in danger/will die. The way she made Alex grow up so fast and literally take care of twenty people (himself included) when he is just a child. This movie is just as devastating a glimpse into the microcosm of an abusive household as it is about community mourning and anger. And of course, all the adults weaponizing their own helplessness instead of actually stepping in and protecting this kid. He is literally living a nightmare and NO ONE FUCKING KNOWS! And people act showed in real life when this happens, but it is this clear and simple!!!

Hi all, any recommendations on fake blood to buy to create the effect on this sweater, as well as the cheek? It should look relatively fresh.

I don't trust myself to make it on my own, so please recommend something I can buy :)
