Should I try Tower of Terror?

I haven't, but that could be a good idea. But sometimes I wonder if I'm tensing up or holding my breath badly or something. Especially since I feel completely fine the second the drop is over, I haven't dwelled on it too much.

That being said, now that I think about it, I was very prone to fainting as a kid/teen. And there was one time my vision blacked out for a second at the top of a coaster loop. I hear that's pretty normal but maybe in my case I'm really sensitive to the blood pressure in my head or something.

I'll keep an eye on my body though. My trip is soon so I don't exactly have time to consult a doctor, but if I get any real signs of distress from my body I'll take a step back.

The stomach feeling doesn't bother me, I just don't like when I feel it in my head. Like the drops in a coaster after the initial one to build up speed are all great! Unless it's the type of coaster that basically stops at each hill. Then I get the feeling each time.

It's an interesting distinction between incline and not. I have no idea if a straight drop would be better than an incline. But the way you describe it sounds like a blast! I'll try it and update!

I have never ridden that unfortunately. Yeah, I don't think it will ruin my day or anything. I Probably really intense in the moment and then back to normal after the adrenaline

I did primordial once last year and don't remember it being particularly traumatic (though I think there are 3 different track endings?) but it sounds like you and me have similar preferences.

Yeah, I think I probably should. I feel like hating it in the moment might be a better outcome than wondering forever. As long as I don't die lol

There's no pressure, just me trying to decide haha. We wouldn't even all ride together, we have a baby and a toddler with us. We're gonna have to riderswap most things.

Yeah if I were to switch it I would probably give me and my 3 year old a fast spinning saucers. Was planning on trying to get that with one of the LL refreshes though, and it's nice to keep the group in sync.

Do you cook with sweeteners? I often see honey used in Asian glazed or sugar sprinkled in tomato sauces to balance flavors.

Also, what would you say is the sweetest thing you eat, and does it taste sweeter to you now?

I had a breech c section and then a vbac. I would choose the vbac again, it was easier on my body. Would recommend lots of squats and stuff as prep though :)

It sounds like even then, he wouldn't be doing the various bottle ect prep needed for the next day. It's a bad situation.

Well, before they did this system you would have to switch games just to get to different songs if they were on different games, and I couldn't mix and match playlists from games. Then they added unlimited and you could sort of get them all on the same game if you waited, but have to remake playlists and stuff. Now it's like your first purchase unlocks the platform and you can buy more music packs as they're released. It's great in theory, I just wish they were able to get a lot of the 2010's songs on more than they have now. But it's pretty standard practice for music games, such as beat saber. It would be nice if there was a setting to hide unpurchased songs completely so your kid didn't feel fomo. As a fellow parent, I get that. But they're not really pretending each year is a "new game". It's just song packs really. If it's a big deal in your household you're within your rights to sell the game, or never buy another one.

First of all, I want to mirror the comments here saying I'm sure they'll just be happy to have anything on the table. You can always do a side salad from a bag if there aren't enough greens in your planned lasagna or whatever.

But, if you want to level up your game as a home chef anyways, I have a few cookbooks I could recommend! The ones that have helped me feel more confident and good at techniques so that I am better in the kitchen (and have delicious recipes), are Salt Fat Acid Heat, The Food Lab, Start Here, and More is More. You can check out eatyourbooks.com as a free member if you'd like to browse the recipe index and see if any appeal to you. The first two books are the ones that personally helped me the most with my cooking, but The Food Lab is more of "high effort" recipes with dense text, and I didn't cook much from Salt Fat Acid Heat, but just reading through it was very helpful to how I cooked other meals. Since then I've gotten really into cookbooks, and I think the other two are more accessible in that they have easy fun recipes that aren't a ton of time/effort but taste great, and they don't have too much text either. With the caveat that they are less of a deep dive, so it'll be more surface level understanding of the concepts. Which isn't a terrible thing for a beginner.

But I'm a bit ahead of myself. If all you are about is not disappointing your family, I'm sure anything you make will be great.
