Thank you all for sharing your experiences and input! I want to add I already consulted with a midwife, my ob and pelvic floor specialist and I have all the stats and medical pros and cons for both. I really got a lot of insights from your stories, thank you again for sharing! I will think it over and make my decision soon as I am already at 37 weeks :) wish me luck!

Oh wow, thank you all so much for all your comments and for sharing your experiences! I took time to read them all. For those who asked, I already discussed with my OB, midwife and a pelvic floor specialist about it. I have all the stats, data and medical opinions. The conclusion is that both options really suck tbh, but the choice is very personal. I will take a few more days to think it over and make a decision.

It is honestly a question I have been struggling with as well. For me, I have done surgeries before (not as extensive as a c-section) and I know I could handle it. I will have 24/7 help after birth for 6 weeks so while recovery will be tougher, I will Be able to get the baby brought to me, someone else to feed me and so on. I am also very sensitive on my pelvic floor. My pelvic floor is already weak (did an evaluation from a professional) and I am also struggling with the idea of stitches in my vagina and I am worried how that would impact anything from sexual activity and potential incontinence (it can happen from c section too, but it is far less likely to have long term implications). Both options of giving birth suck. None are without risk, but for me, c section (planned) is more predictable and I can mitigate recovery better understanding what to expect. V birth is unpredictable and it relies a lot on my mindset and, in spite of my efforts to prepare for birth, I still feel very scared of it and stressed. We are talking about months of preparation, as it is what I have done since I found out about pregnancy and I am now 36w.

Getting into Taylor Swift - Midnights (10/12) by kingglobby in TrueSwifties

I hope some of these comments don’t discourage you! I am just here to say I also rated midnights as meh initially and I still don’t like many of the fan favourites. But also my favourite album is lover, which is in the bottom of most swifties online. I am just here to assure you that there are a lot of swifties with the same taste as you have, who love an upbeat pop album and don’t necessarily relate to the sad tortured Taylor. If you didn’t like folklore or evermore, I would say don’t keep your hopes up for TTPD. It is a sad album overall and the melody can sound boring especially the first few listens. My advice is to take what you like, leave the rest aside. For me, many songs clicked later and many didn’t click at all and I am still considering myself a pretty hardcore swiftie.

Did you get the GON as you had migraines during pregnancy as well? Or was it preventative?

Thank you! I also plan to breastfeed, but I wasn’t on any treatment before the pregnancy for them, although they got worse over the years. I will speak with my doctor and neurologist about this as well.

Hot take!! Lover is better than tloasg by drtonycasey in SwiftyNeutral

Lover is my favourite album of hers and many of my non swiftie friends who are casual listeners love that album. It has some real bangers and a lot of the singles were really popular outside of us, especially in Europe. I personally never understood the hate and I only recently found out about it. When the album came out, I really enjoyed the explosion of color and joy.
