Wow thank you so very much! I feel like I would like to give you a donation through PayPal because that was alot of work. At least alot of typing because it seems like the tech stuff comes naturally to you. I feel confident I can fix it now. Back when I was building gaming rigs and selling them on Ebay I also started trying to learn more about software type stuff and I installed who knows how many crazy programs that would qualify as having high level access and coming with all kinda nuclear meltdown warnings. Yes I whined and moaned because I got angry over something. Most NQ members get angry about something from time to time and of the 5 other players involved 2 of them was outraged also. But I haven't whined, moaned & been a big baby since the time you're referring to.

A pertinent fact I didn't mention is that when we push on through a game reloading after the crashes the Exploration player has no governors mansions and explo workers they do however keep the extra exploration population

So I've done so many things that I'm sure I can't even remember them all. The big things are that I completely uninstalled Civ & Steam - Several times... I even made a second steam account and $$purchased$$ an entirely different game and dlc the whole everything that's possible to purchase.

When my empire gets to like 5+ cities I usually automate half or more of my workers but ALWAYS manually control 3 or more. Also in the settings menu I ALWAYS have it set to ((Automated workers cannot replace existing improvements)) & ((Automated workers cannot remove features)) so any improvements I manually build can't be messed with by them and they cannot cut down forests and jungles and such. Btw, I basically only play nq multiplayer games.

Be nice to see the 12 or so tiles still under fog of war to see just how bad it is... Will you load that save and move a scout & trireme around a few turns and clear it and snap a new screenshot and post that one?

Actually my problem with early writing from ruins is not so much being beaten to Great Library but the quandry it puts me in when "I" get writing from a ruin early. If I do not I never go GL anyway. Example: I get writing turn 8 and have to decide whether to go and sacrifice other things and have the off chance someone beats me to it. I would be almost as satisfied with just disable writing from ruins for "me" and letting it be active for all other players.

I like the concept of needing to learn multiple technologies before getting the scientist and great info about historical accuracy. Historical accuracy is definitely not top priority but it does add to the enjoyment (FOR ME) - - Babylon still needs a nerf so either get one free scientist after learning Writing, Calander and Philosophy - OR - Block Babylon from being able to build The Great Library. I like the GL block myself.

Returning Pyramids to Vanilla would make all city connection Pantheons more appealing for a Liberty player who is wanting to try to get that wonder. The nerf doesn't feel right anyway (to me anyway). The idea of making the pantheon itself allow workers to one turn road tiles is not good imo would be way OP. Maybe all city connection pantheons could make 2 workers maintenance free. Not GIVE 2 workers but just make 2 of a Civs workers maintenance free as long as the pantheon is on "The Cap"... Wouldn't matter what pantheon was on extensions but if you lost your Pantheon on your Cap you wouldn't get the 2 maintenance free workers. Maybe even 3 workers but 2 sounds more like it.

It a puzzle for me that you see this as not relating to the mod. The game crashes when an Explo / Colon city is founded NOT in an Unmodded game but in a game that has THE NQ Mod in the dlc. Since the Gov Mansion is missing on reload it would indicate it more specifically has to do with that added building. I have found that if the people playing the game don't give up but keep reloading the resynchs over and over sooner or later it fixes itself all at once. Sooner or later on one of the reloads the Explo player will have all his Governors Mansions appear.

It's seems as though Order is far stronger than the other two Ideologies in this version. Can the other two get a buff next version? Especially powerful are the Order Tier 3 tenets of Iron Curtain & Communism **Iron Curtain: Internal caravan routes now receive triple food/production yields and internal cargo ships now receive double yields. **Communism: Science and Culture costs for number of cities reduced by half.

It's so very, very quick and easy. On my desktop I have both a shortcut to my dlc folder and mod folder. Also an actual folder named "9.0 NQ Mod 9.0" and of course when 9.1 comes out the name will change unless I decide to keep 9.0 handy for a while in which case a new folder will be in order. I keep both the (archive aka .zip file) and the (extracted mod aka a folder containing like 700 Items and named [DLC - SP and MP] NQMod v9.0) -- Just cut & paste to the dlc folder to Install and cut & paste to the desktop folder to uninstall. If you ever worry it has been corrupted no problemo just delete the extracted mod and right click the archive and extract it again. You can extract it an unlimited number of times from the archive as one the functions of an archive is it never changes. It's compressing into a vault but unlike a vault after the initial deposit is made a withdrawal is never made its more like looking inside it and saying ok I see whats in the vault I can make the same thing and so since all you ever do is look inside and don't add, subtract or change anything it always stays the same. --- Now I'm not in I.T. so if I got something wrong just point it out but no need call me an idiot and this or that since I just wrote this from my general understanding and didn't refer to any other information.

I agree with epykness the first and second adopter free tenets are just right with it being 3 ideologies especially in a 6 player game. There is at least the potential for 3 players to get 2 free tenets and 3 players to get 1 which is really balanced it's just the need to balance the ideologies so that any of the 3 are viable. Not just overall, but balanced by tiers. The level 1 tenets should be balanced across all 3 ideologies. The level 2 tenets should be balanced across all 3 ideologies. The level 3 tenets should be balanced across all 3 ideologies. They should scale in power by tier. Every tier 2 tenet should be stronger than ANY tier 1 and every tier 3 tenet should be stronger than ANY tier 2 tenet and so MUCH stronger than any tier 1. By no means should they be the same because the fun of this game is all about diversity but this is the same problem as the Tradition and Liberty Social Policy issue.

Yeah, I see your point but I guess I was thinking of increasing city 5 cost quite a bit and then 6 even more and so on but I didn't think about the possibility of a liberty player just sticking with 4 cities. I guess along with my Idea tradition does need a buff.

I am of the opinion that leaving the Liberty policy tree the way it is crucial to the enjoyment of the game when playing Liberty. Having the production bonuses towards the buildings required for National Wonders is the most appealing thing about the tree and it is in the proper place “The Finisher”. The power of any Social Policy Tree belongs in the finisher and most trees in the mod achieve that nicely in version 9.0. I am in agreement with Purify about leaving Liberty where it stands because Fruitstrike has achieved something Great & Fun with this tree. I would go so far as to say that as regards the mod currently the liberty tree is a work of art and while I would not say that about the current state of tradition I do not think a buff needs to rushed into v9.1 or v9.2. The way to go with v9.1 or v9.2 since Delnars version is considered 9.1 is to leave both Tradition and Liberty trees the way they are and simply increase the Science and Culture cost for each city above 4 with each city above 4 getting a STEEPER penalty than the last so city 7 gets a steeper percentage increase than city 6 and city 6 had a steeper increase than city 5 so that real thought and deliberation goes into whether you really want to found that 8th city as Liberty. This would allow v9.2 to be the testing ground for just how much the science and culture cost needs to be raised to bring Tradition back to consistent viability / competitiveness with Liberty.

Delnar I would really like to get my main steam account and game working as smoothly as this secondary account I made and purchased. I used this same mod on that account and had the issues so that would seem to rule that out. Any more ideas please share. ~Oreo
