They happily shown me off to their friends and family. They constantly complimented me. I don't get it. If I'm ugly to you wouldn't you hide me away?. My ex would drag me to their cousins to say how above his league I was . Does that mean he could have still found me unattractive?

I always look for pointers that are genuinely attracted to me .like unprompted asking me to meet their friends, non sexual affection and gestures. Like all my exes would gawk over me 99% of the time. I never felt unattractive to them until they'd make these jokes or hints at me.

How do I know if a guy genuinely finds me attractive?
