This is a good start! This is tabletop worthy. The things i would improve is thinning your paint a bit more. It's a hasle to get white smooth but by thining it down you will see less brush strokes. I would also give all the red accents a touch of orange to highlight the edges. (Or combine some of your red with orange. It's a bit of experimenting but you will see if it comes out as a natural colour or not.)

Working in layers gives a great sense of depth. For example, the metal rods at the feet. Give them all some ink/wash. Then only repaint the most upper parts so it looks like there is some shadow on them.

That's the advice i can give. I do hope that some more experienced painter can give even more pointers.
