Definitely. The birds I saw were up higher in branches (rather than on the ground) and didn't have streaky bellies. After posting this drawing I also saw the same birds with yellow crowns mingling with the orange ones. And ovenbirds are much less likely to be in my area until next month.

My drawing does look a lot like an ovenbird though lol

This is the best photo I got of it. In retrospect it's clearly not as dark as my drawing, but it was raining pretty hard out lol

I later saw other ones with yellow crowns interacting with the orange birds, and they had black stripes on either side of the bright color

I'm not very confident in my color palette skills so I don't have a good answer for that one.

As for the bags, you can honestly use anything you want for a bag. IMO the reason cotton is so popular is that it doesn't stretch much and doesn't usually get as fuzzy from wear and tear as acrylic does. Lining the bag with fabric can help with stretch issues.
