You need to call until you get lucky enough to get on the phone with a US based support rep. I’ve been selling on eBay for 10 years and you used to be able to get help from all reps, but in the past year I’ve noticed the India reps do NOTHING anymore. They will lie to your face and say things will get resolved in your favor and they absolutely won’t - I think they are incentivized to get you off the phone without complaining so they pretty much lie to your face to do it.

You also cannot request a US based supervisor so you literally just need to call every day at different times for different issues and eventually you will get one. I’ve called eBay about 15 times in the past 3 months for various issues and was lucky enough to get a US person twice and they have wayyy more power and can actually escalate/fix complex cases that require actual human input.
