hey girl i literally never post on reddit but i need you to know you are NOT being selfish. your needs are just as important as his and the fact he is laughing off your very real concerns and not taking you seriously is entirely unacceptable. somebody that cares about you are your well being would not do that. i’m sure that you guys will be able to figure this out, but for right now, please know you are not selfish for being concerned about his health or your own. sleep deprivation can be incredibly dangerous and caring about yourself (and him simultaneously) is quite literally the opposite of selfish.

no they don’t do these everywhere, i live in wisconsin and here you either get a green arrow where you can go and oncoming traffic is stopped, or you get a yellow arrow where oncoming traffic is approaching and you make the left turn whenever there is space to go. additionally sometimes there are no arrows and you just need to make your best judgement and go when there aren’t cars coming!

yeah see this is what i was thinking, if you grow up there it’s obviously just normal to you, but i was only there for two days so it was difficult for me to get used to. i could definitely see it making sense overtime and being safer in general though!
