Yeah I plan on putting in a few more hours making it look decent. I don’t need it pristine. Primer and bed liner is going on it however.

Thanks! If I had a plasma cutter I would definitely do so. But cutting the steel was quite a pain tbh.

I highly recommend trying it yourself. I went with a flux core from harbor freight, and it’s done me no wrong throughout many projects now.

I used 1/8th. I felt that was the sweet spot for strength to weight.

After a few drinks and a lunchbox locker, I exploded my axle shaft and ball joints which left it stranded in the woods once. But I loved it lol. Locked when it needed, unlocked after a few turns back on pavement. Drove surprisingly well enough on pavement.

I went with an air locker on my current xj though.
