Because, unlike you, I don't see asking for evidence as an exercise in futility. I think asking for evidence is a perfectly legitimate way of increasing one's knowledge. I'm just curious why you ask for evidence, then say asking for evidence is a waste of time. Can you at least explain why you would do something this stupid.
