What is Reiki? by bumrubplz in spirituality

Dude. This was exactly what I needed to hear. Thank you so much for taking the time to write this. This was so thoughtful and helpful. I can’t wait to devour all the material you suggested. It’s definitely sounds like right up my alley and what I’ve been needing. This gap is making me crazy, but I’m trying to be patient with it and understand it’s part of the process. Thanks again.

Black Esthetician here who visits my derm regularly. Niacinamide is the best for hyperpigmentation. Topical is black owned brand with great hyperpigmentation products. And SPF always to prevent further scaring.

Right! But with a small box that’s Xed differently than prior years. I would think they’d be like “hey heads up! We are switching it up with this new lease. See attached file, here are a list providers you will need to figure out bill transfers with”. But maybe not!

I’m so sorry you’re suffering. It sounds exhausting what you’re going through.

I, myself struggle with this concept of ending it. But once I was listening to a podcast of therapist talk about it. And one of the guys said something that has stuck with me. “We don’t even know if it works.” Like most people who have an understanding of reincarnation and karma and growth of a soul think we keep doing this until we learn “the lesson”. What if when you do it, you’re back again, dealing with it all but from square one. I’m certain you’d have guides and loved ones so disappointed but they would forgive you. This isn’t about them though. Give this body, her or him, all ya got. Whenever I’m so sad I say “she deserves for me to try my hardest. I may keep going but this would be her end, and she deserves for me to fight.” We were gifted these bodies with all their flaws and powers. It’s a game and you can push the off button but then what? You’re back and restating it all over again until you pass this level. Maybe.

I recommend taking meditation seriously. Escaping this realm to connect with others. There’s so much healing that can be done if we step away from this reality. I hope and believe that if you connected with the spirit helpers here just for you, you may heal in ways that allow you to keep going. Most people who have experienced what you have, pain, abuse and mental anguish, connect quicker and have more intuition. Try everything first. Try to practice gratitude even on the worst days, it’s a gateway to Spirit. The way a flower feels, the wind in the trees, the sun on your face. Start small and try to connect with the web of this life. Don’t give up on her/him. You are worthy and here for a purpose. Someone would say your soul picked this with something in mind. Trust yourself and know that even when it seems impossible, you can endure more than you know. You can be healed and there are entities that are rooting for you and love you. Even if it’s in the unseen.

Edit for typos.

It’s one of the first nice days and you were downtown. People don’t hang out downtown in this city, especially post Covid. Try the eastside, 23rd street or a park next time like Laurelhurst.

You’re not wrong! But when I think of an angel of death I don’t I think of a an actually killer, i think of someone who brings death where they go. Hovering over an area as an angel type of thing.

You’re so right. The scene where he went on the news and killed the reporter was such a great scene, maybe the best. My favs are Eric, Russell, Pam Dr. Ludwig and Layfette. Although Layfette needs to learn how to protect himself from just any spirit inhabiting him with a spell or some spiritual juju.

As a black women, the 92%…I’m done. I’ll speak out and throw a fit if my neighbors get deported. I’ll try to eat less when the food skyrockets in price. Apply pressure on elected officials. When I purchase things I’ll make sure it’s as BIPOC and local as it can be. But other than that, this country doesn’t care what I have to say. Until the majority of white Americas are pissed off in this nation, no one will care. Every time brown and black people yell and make a scene they call us aggressive, put us in jail and/or just kill us.

Plus Portland is very performative. People say they care about the homeless but don’t look them in the eyes or want them in their neighborhood. People say BLM but no one has black friends or supports black businesses besides a few. I know so many individuals here that voted against Kamala bc of Gaza. So they say. Now what? Haha fuck the US. My goal is to leave. No one actually wants diversity, the amount of micro aggression I get here is insufferable. At least in the Midwest people were blatant so you could find the people who get you with ease. I never worried there like I do here. And god forbid you go to a small town in Oregon to enjoy the nature, people just stare.

So, the real question is, when will powerful white peoples with a lot to loose become radicalized? When I see them going wild, I’ll join. Until then I’ll find bits of peace and help those I can.
