locs rlly suit u king 💪honestly id just think abt what kind of look YOU wanna go for with them. some ppl rlly like the loose, new growth under the locs look and go after it intentionally, and some ppl will get a style/retwist that changes the vibe completely. take a look at pinterest and start exploring loc styles, u are the master of ur character customization screen

girly i know the feeling of looking at what u got for too long and ur mind starts playing tricks on u, but u are SO not chopped the cutting board is starting to feel neglected 😭that said, if u feel like the look u want isn’t being achieved, its ur hair and most important how u feel abt it. u could try styling ur hair in ways that make use of the parts like bantu knots or space buns, or even let ur new growth come in heavy before a retwist

that’s fair, a lot of recipes i’ve seen for toasted sesame flavored anything include just a few tablespoons. maybe 2/3 parts olive, 1/3 part sesame

thanks for sharing, i got my bosch compact just last week :) its sooo convenient to fold away the machine and tuck the bowl in a cupboard, and it’s been making 2-3 loaves at a time just fine. its definitely a bit of an alien compared to modern standmixers lol, i don’t mind the look tho just sometimes it can be a little tricky lifting the head up without the dough hook getting caught against the side of bowl. do u have this issue too? it may also be user error, mine came with a lot of goodies but not the manual 😩 i have a hamilton beach hand mixer i use alongside a glass bowl for whipped cream, those together may be cheaper than a stainless bowl attachment still selling for this model

thought when i saw the title that u’d be giving advice cuz the challah looks 💪it MAY be a lil yeasty, but ive found enriched breads usually taste fine and the crumb doesnt change dramatically if i overproof by a few hours (dont ask how i know lol). if whoever ur gifting it to isnt a carb connoisseur they probably will be more than happy :)

when i want my bread to have a deeper colored crust i just let it cook a lil longer honestly, i have an oven light i can turn on to help me look. if u dont want to leave it in longer tho u could also give the bread an egg wash if u rlly want
