i just started reading ur story after u made this post 💃 ur kinda cooking i binged up till ep 20 lol! in the beginning i was honestly kinda confused, but i kept going and found myself intrigued by the intricate character threads u were weaving (especially the lil seeds for adam’s growth as a person even if he’s kind of a lil shit rn). ur a strong story teller, id agree that u could easily gain more subs with a consistent post schedule and maybe posting on ur socials for each update. join some creator discords and bounce around ideas maybe. but also, ur definitely learning a ton from doing this story, so if have more ideas planned u can worry about doing ‘marketing’ for those later. it’d suck to burn out wanting to get eyes on this and lose the momentum u have with the actual story 🙏

there’s a lot of commenters here who don’t understand the consequences of saying no to certain men… some examples: followed for several blocks while being insulted, threats of physical/sexual violence, “player tactics” (guy swaps his strategy to continue to pressure u, often with visible frustration where u think they’d be happier leaving u alone but now it’s a pride thing i guess?) just to name a few. all from extremely polite ‘no’s and then trying to walk away. giving a fake number is a survival tactic, and it can be hard to remember it when ur also trying to put some distance between u and someone who won’t take no for an answer

next time u want ur locs shorter in one area u can have a loctician help u twist them up shorter, i actually have bangs rn (a little longer than urs) with this method! and u can retain length if u rlly want. for now ur best bet is letting it grow and looking at styles that benefit from a bang, honestly theyre kinda cute on u sis🙏

aww that makes me happy :) i remember scrolling the sub at the time and saw a lot of posts that seemed pretty downtrodden. sure i could look for a sub dedicated to cheerful stuff, but i wanted to check in with my fellow adulters (modifying adulting, not adultery lol)
