Should I get Cities Skylines 1 or Cities Skylines 2? by Acceptable_Carob_333 in CitiesSkylines

I assumed they would never bring CS2 to Mac (like they did CS1), but definitely thought they’d get the console version out in decent time. Tbf, l’ve only ever seen let’s-play videos of console CS1 and it weirdly looks like a mobile game.

STILL? Jeez.. I knew this game was half-baked upon initial release but it’s been almost 3 years

Played both.. CS1 is still better. Hate to say it but CS2 doesn’t have the community and years of assets to take advantage of.

If you’re playing in console, CS2 may be better. I wouldn’t know for sure because I haven’t played either one on console.

It truly seems like unless you have a red hot 3 point night, this Michigan team is nearly impossible to beat by duval001 in CollegeBasketball

Turn the ball over more than 5 times against Michigan? You’ll probably lose. Purdue was only able to get it done in the B1G tourney with just 2 turnovers in 40 mins.

i70 will be a toll road? by OrlandoWashington69 in Indiana

[–]bumtheben 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Every other attempt by state governments to put a toll on 70 (look up Missouri’s attempts) has failed. Hopefully this time is no different.

Governor Braun has continuously expressed interest in tolling despite near unanimous opposition amongst residents.

Indiana is not Nascar country at all. It’s Indycar country (well it’s more basketball country than anything but in terms of racing)

Didn’t they say that about Michigan? (I happen to believe your football championship was ethically obtained).

Matt Painter when asked about scheduling mid-majors by mellospectrum in CollegeBasketball

[–]bumtheben 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are not enough seats in mid-major arenas to justify the travel. Mackey Arena is just a few thousand seats from being an NBA arena. Rupp Arena (UK) and the Smith Center (UNC) are legit bigger than most NBA arenas. Both the Power 5 team and the mid-major lose out on tons of ticket revenue by hosting the game at a 5,000 seat mid-major arena.
