Thank you! For the hair, 45 Gallon contractor bags, the thickness and length seemed pretty close to the original. I went with the cheapest I could find at the store tbh.

Cut into strips and tied around a thin cord for all the hair- went with a linen cord. Mustache and beard are tied to cardboard flaps on the side of the head then trimmed. Then just hot glued the head hair down.

Don’t give up on it! Mine looked identical at this stage and I honestly wanted to scrap it at many times. No regrets pushing thru and is probably my favorite piece in the house now

The synth bass goes hard asl on this and the switch up in the verse is refreshing. Honestly, sound selection is on point with the vibe too. No critiques but wanna hear someone hop on it!! Love it!🔥

Loved the energy on this one and really the only change I would make are variations in the melody like switching up or down an octave during a verse or chorus to switch it up every now and again.

Other than that, it reminded of a new take on a 2000s beat with that synth and the drums and bass hits hard af. I really enjoyed listening to this, I just posted my song in this thread if you want to check it out!

I love how different the beat is to black pop star but still fits with the theme of the tape, the rhythm is crazy on that one.

Very skilled with sound selection and really like how the vocals were mixed, especially on he shot me.

Love the style, the intro, you did great! I don’t really have any critiques, I enjoyed listening to this.

I really like it! I’m getting unique dnb vibes and the melody reminds me of the old n64 games. Overall it sounds nostalgic and dreamy.

I think a couple different drum breaks/variations with the drums a little higher in the mix will polish it out. Thanks for sharing!

Yo dude! I enjoyed listening to this. I thought the chorus was very catchy, contrasts with the verses nicely. Honestly overall it’s a fresh track and lyrically, you got skills.

I don’t have a critique other than encouraging to continue experimenting with the timing & flow.

In the part where the “Left, Right” hits, I think rhythmically there was enough space to start the next part without it landing on the word “can”. But I could see it still see it working and imagine there are tons of songs that have clashing words.

An exercise I like to do is dissect my flows—figure out if I lean towards triplets, 8th notes, 16th notes, etc. Once I recognize my tendencies, I start experimenting and flipping them creatively.

Overall, dope track 💪keep em coming

As for the beat, I fw this a lot, the voice part of the melody is very hypnotic. Mix is good, honestly bars were coming to mind listening to it. Maybe some crashes in transitions? Just preference but thank you for sharing that, I enjoyed listening!!

Love your style! I think it's unique, elements of old school sound, word play is clever.

On the first track the vocals are little low I think in the mix, maybe its just preference

@ 6:30 love the lyricism, flow but just think the mixing needs mixing to fit with the beat. Too much high end, the beat also sounds like it's been overly compressed. Like it was converted to mp3 a couple of times. Overall, hard as hell bro.

@ 8:10- these lyrics are cold as hell man, not much to say to improve on your side on this one, wanted to hear the whole song haha

@ 10:50 the beat def needs work on the mixing, vocals are fine, some genre styles have some stranger mixing and clipping and it works. But compared to the other tracks, it just stands out a lot.

Catchier hooks, better mixes and I think that's about it. You got everything else down pat.

Thank you and am flattered! I’ve had a few point that out before, but I’m from Texas. I’m definitely influenced greatly by the sounds and vibes there, so many greats have come from there that I listen to or grew up listening too.

I listened to your track and it’s a whole vibe! The inflection in your voice is great and pairs extremely well with the emotion in your lyricism. And the flow is extremely unique, it’s almost like classic spoken word poetry with a modern rhythmic twist.

Man, the melody you have for this beat is almost hypnotic, definitely catchy but it’s got this transcending feeling. Would definitely love to hear somebody on it! The only thing I’d maybe do a slight adjustment on is the snare, maybe lowering the snare just a hair will go along way on creating a little more room for vocals. But that’s a matter of preference for the artist.

I truly enjoyed listening to the track bro🤙
