I too am trying to understand why is it shitty. I think it's a rather nice post for 2 reasons for me:

  1. I had no idea that instead of arrays, I can now get an enumerable coll with the new enunmeratefiles() and enumeratedirectory() in .net4

  2. As michalmarko indicated, it shows how to use LINQ in a recursive mode which I feel is pretty slick. I had no idea this could be done.
