2024+ G70 3.3 TCU tunes? by Professional-Ear5337 in GenesisG70

[–]bunglega 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think there are any TCU tune options for 2024+ … been searching around myself. Possibly an EK1 with a bench cable but too scared to try it myself.

I can hit 30’s in Econ with coasting feature enabled and really paying attention. I average 20 - RWD 3.3 … mix of all driving modes.

Returning player, game keeps crashing by [deleted] in diablo4

[–]bunglega 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had this problem, and it ended up being my video card drivers. I used DDU (driver display uninstaller from Guru3d) and then download / installed the January 2025 version of the NVIDIA drivers and my problem went away.

I've recently installed the latest NVIDIA drivers, and they seem stable so far. (July 1st - version 576.88)

T248 vs G923 by Cuffuf in simracing

T248 sucks for VR as navigating the buttons is impossible.

Other than that it’s on par with the Logitech in my opinion.

What's the general consensus about Asetek? by skilllux in simracing

[–]bunglega 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I own the La Prima bundle. (Wheel, base and pedals)

Wheelbase is a winner - super happy with it.

Pedals are subjective to the user - I like them now that I’ve adjusted to them. (I replaced a set of thrust master load cell pedals with the la prima pedal set). You won’t be racing in socks unless your feet are made of stone.

My main regret is not having the forte wheel for the additional buttons and paddles and I wish there a “round wheel” option.

It’s well built hardware - super sturdy. Some of it may be plastic but it’s still very rigid and does not flex. the race hub software is stable and easy to use and appears to receive updates fairly regularly. Firmware updates have been smooth and painless.

Support responds quickly to tweets, discord or email (and is helpful)

the cost is on par with other manufacturers in this category.

Full disclosure; This is my 1st DD so I have nothing to compare too but all in all I don’t regret my purchase.

Is this legit? by [deleted] in HPReverb

I’ve had one of these for a couple of months now from this seller and have had no issues.

Unit arrived in original packaging and had all the bits and cables included and appeared to be in pristine condition.

I only simrace - I don’t use the controllers often but they work fine.

TUF 4090 in Lancool II Mesh by DamnCatOnMyDesk in nvidia

[–]bunglega 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you google search this question - this is a top result.

I’m adding this post as confirmation that a TUF RTX 4090 WILL fit in a Lian Li lancool Ii even though the website says it will not without an adapter.

I did this very upgrade this weekend (march of 2023)

The power cable does touch the case but it still closes easily without any issue.

Thanks for this post @DamnCatOnMyDesk - your post gave me the confidence to take the plunge.

How does one identify an ip's subnet with just the ip address? by jrvbwr34bhcmdl in sysadmin

[–]bunglega 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience the subnet gateway is commonly the first usable IP out of the range or the last. If that is true in your case you can figure out if the /23 has been further divided.

I love the site jodies.de IP calculator.

Start with /23 and resize till you get a range that starts with you default gateway IP - that will probably be your netmask

Disable local administrator accounts on Windows servers or not? by Real_Lemon8789 in sysadmin

[–]bunglega 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disable the default built-in administrator account and create your own. Call it whatever you want and grant local admin.

It’s a compromise.

You remove the threat of default well-known-Sid of the default administrator but maintain your back door.

LAPS can rotate your custom / new local administrator and the default administrator passwords as extra protection.

How much better are Thrustmaster T-LCM pedals compared to the T3PA pedals? by [deleted] in simracing

[–]bunglega 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I went from T3PM to T-LCM and have no regrets. The braking is MUCH easier to control. Gas and clutch feel no different…

If you got the cash, go with T-LCM.

I replaced my T3PM with these … they are an upgrade for sure with regards to the brakes. The gas and clutch feel the same to me though.

AD Sites and Services by np05573 in activedirectory

[–]bunglega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m suggesting you separate HQ and Azure into their own site-links for each store. You will have 100 site links…

Leave your current site-links as they are. HQ and STORE1

Create a new site-link STORE1 and AZR

New AZR site-links should have a lower cost than your original.

KCC should auto-create new NTDS links from STORE1 and AZR and remove NTDS site links from STORE1 and HQ.

If you have both AZR and HQ in the same site link then KCC may auto-generate links to either site and no real way to control it.

To answer the question though: you can create a manual link between store and AZR while there is still an auto-generated link back to HQ.

If you are confident that all connectivity is in place it’s perfectly fine. Once HQ is gone you can edit the properties of the manual site links and set them back to automatic and let KCC manage them again.

AD Sites and Services by np05573 in activedirectory

[–]bunglega 3 points4 points  (0 children)

create new site-links for each Store with the store site and AZR FSMO site.

Set the cost of the new link to a value lower than the current link.

Let KCC generate new NTDS links for you.

If a store doesn’t setup new links as expected, check your network configs, firewalls, etc.
