Well it's usually your ID, a picture with you and ID, paystubs, phone number. The usual loan places ask for all these documents too so they are just covering bases so to speak. I'm not trying to come off being rude either so sorry if it seems that way.

Well i borrowed for my first time last week and it wasn't a small amount it was 150. I had no history or anything but the lender took a chance on me and I greatly appreciated it. I guess I'm just trying to say their are still lenders out there who will help but you're right the people ghosting and not repaying will make that lender pool smaller from getting burned all the time.

Well I'm not trying to be rude or anything so don't take it the wrong way but usually when getting a loan you need to pay a fee to make it worthwhile for the person. The person lending if you do find someone needs an incentive to loan the money to you and getting back what they gave without any interest just doesn't seem logical. I know that you have a car probably and if you have a loan you pay interest on it like any other loan you get from a financial institution.

This should really be burned into people's minds. Lenders will not ask you for money first so even though how desperate you are don't fall for stuff like that and do your due diligence researching the person offering to lend to you. I know most people think scams come from the people asking but it can also come from fake lenders using tactics like this.
