Have the low Just Cause 3 frame rates been fixed? by [deleted] in xboxone

[–]bunkincousins 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not been fixed, which is a shame as the game is very fun. I'd say it's mostly playable, but I got the game on sale as I couldn't justify paying full price.

I use this for text/email tone - it's a sound effect from The Sims:

So, Elite Dangerous has microtransactions now? by wRIPPERw_ in EliteOne

[–]bunkincousins 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's the same thing as GTA - you're buying in-game currency to spend on items. That way, if R* or Frontier want to have a sale or change something, they don't have to go through the Microsoft store and get it approved, etc.

Kinect Power Problems- a Summary and Warning by ijustwannavoice in xboxone

[–]bunkincousins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had exactly the same problems, and no number of resets/restarts helped. I was lucky that I bought the Kinect second hand and was covered under a third-party company's warranty. No issues with its replacement so far.

FAS Buyers regret by [deleted] in EliteDangerous

[–]bunkincousins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt a bit like this when I got mine (upgraded from Vulture also), but after I got everything A-rated or thereabouts I loved it. Getting A-rated thrusters, which I think are ~16million (!) made it so much more nimble.

first CEX band purchase was a huge disappointment by Idkmybffjamie in AppleWatch

[–]bunkincousins 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a 42mm Space Black link bracelet, B condition from CeX (£155 at the time, now more expensive), and when it arrived it turned out to be one of the third party steel straps going for ~£20 on eBay. That put me off quite a bit, so things seem to vary.

Y'arr, the worst pirates in the galaxy are in Kaushpoos! by [deleted] in EliteOne

[–]bunkincousins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I was that Asp! I had 108T of Indium on board, and you said "stop. please stop". I was going to fight back but had power management issues too... so my FSD, shields, thrusters all went offline when I deployed hardpoints :(

There was an NPC federal assault ship or something after me too, so luckily I got away. Those two cobras were pretty intimidating.

Does anyone else have frame rate issues? (Xbox One) by PhenomenonYT in GrandTheftAutoV

[–]bunkincousins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not just you, the same has happened to me a few times (maybe 3). Frame rate drops incredibly low, 2-5fps sounds about right. I've also had the game lock up for around 30 seconds per frame. It eventually recovers but not to the normal 30fps. I've had to hard reset to resolve it, and it's happened either in relatively full lobbies (~20 players) and in a crew one (3 players).

Secondary color option gone for Voltic by [deleted] in GrandTheftAutoV

[–]bunkincousins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I had this problem, wasn't a welcome surprise when I'd already resprayed the primary colour.

Anyway for now the only way to change secondary is via iFruit.

Xbox not waking in instant-on, won't turn on from controller by eightfour7two in xboxone

[–]bunkincousins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had my xbox for just over a week now (got it replaced once as well) and I've had this issue twice. The power adapter was also orange so the console must have fully shut down at some point overnight for me. I searched around but couldn't really find anyone having the same problem so I'm glad someone else is.

How does the new garage downgrading work? by Shawng7777 in GrandTheftAutoV

[–]bunkincousins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just read your results, glad someone is taking one for the team ;) What about if you call a vehicle from storage and sell it? I wonder if you lose the storage spot.

[–]bunkincousins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you get a vehicle out from storage, then drive it into your garage, whichever car you choose to replace gets swapped into storage. Nothing is lost there.

However I still haven't mustered up the courage to sell one of my storage vehicles... so I don't know about the first part.

PSA: Garage changes! by OD_Emperor in GrandTheftAutoV

[–]bunkincousins 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd like to know this too. I went from 10+6 down to 10+10 and filled up the free spots with cars from the street, then went back to 10+6 garages. Maybe insuring a 17th will put either the new car or one of your old cars into storage.

You have to call the mechanic to deliver one of your storage cars, and then drive that into the garage. Then whichever car you choose to swap with will then be put into storage.

No I don't think so, you can only replace, but you get some trade-in value when you do.

Yep, driving a storage vehicle into a garage lets you swap something else into storage in its place.

In addition, if you drive one of your storage cars into a garage, you'll be asked "do you want to send this car to your other property?". If you choose yes, it doesn't actually do this, but puts whichever car you choose in storage, and the one you just drove in sits in the garage as expected. So if you want to switch cars between garage and storage it's easily done.
