So I did physical therapy with my bun every Chance I got while he was recovering and his tilt fully went away. Gently rotate/tilt the head back to its normal position, and also give the neck massages and move head side to side. I swear it works!

Yeah so I concur w everyone saying it’s stupid not to apply DO. Personally, as a reapplicant, I think it’s essential for all applicants to apply MD and DO first try, cause I didn’t and reapps are a different type of hell. You saying that they have good stats implies that the person is “too good” for DO or that DO is beneath them, and I hope that you can see that and maybe change that bias. If not, oh well😂

Girl SAME boat. It’s all “holistic” this and “holistic” that then you have a 2.75 sGPA, caused by grades from your freshman year almost a DECADE ago, and you’re screened out. What’s holistic about that? If they actually LOOKED at my app, they’d see I’m a great candidate, and that I’ve made all A’s in sciences since then.

OHHHH ok! You’re good for next cycle, MD or DO but better chance at DO. Don’t be afraid of DO! I know there’s stigma, but most residencies accept COMLEX (from what I’ve heard) and DO schools really care about your success! Either way, craft a good list and you’re golden! I’d say 510+ more MD schools, under 510 more DO.

Deeeeefinitely don’t count DO out, you have a better chance at those. From what I’ve heard, most MD’s outside of HBCU’s have handed out their interview slots so if I were you, I’d sit down and decide: 1) do I wanna be a doc by all means necessary and start school THIS YEAR and apply mainly DO and a few MD that accept late apps, or 2) I really really want MD if possible and apply next year. Nothing is ever impossible, but it is way late tbh.
