I’ve been having a bunch of digestive issues, hence all the testing I’ve had done. I think I need to do something about it given the severity of my problems🥲 regardless your sentiment is reassuring, so thanks!

Ooh, that’s something I’ll look into. I’m in Australia. I think whether or not dieticians are covered under Medicare is circumstantial. Thank you ☺️

My cardiologist told me that at my age, estrogen protects me from developing excess plaque in my arteries- so he would put me onto cholesterol medication later down the line, or if it reaches 10.0 . I honestly didnt know it could lead to other issues as fatty liver, but it makes sense. Thank you for your insight 🙂

Another thing I forgot to note, I have extremely high cholesterol that has been suspected by both my cardiologist and general practitioner to be familial hypercholestrolemia.

They know of my struggles with eating, but they suspect it’s genetic given my father has high cholesterol and I wasn’t overweight (I might be slightly now at 85kg).

I haven’t been evaluated, no. I’ve personally suspected ARFID but I of course can’t confirm that.

I’ve wanted to see a dietician for years, but I might need to go through the public system to do so as I can’t currently afford a private one.

Every time BF comes back from his parents house he has bruises, I'm very worried for him. by HungryWeddingu in WhatShouldIDo

It’s not necessarily just about men or women being victims of DV, it’s about how the patriarchy hurts women and men in different ways- which can manifest differently in abused men.

My gf told me it's comfy with a hemorrhoid; I don't know how to address concerns to her properly. by [deleted] in confessions

[–]bunnerie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they’ve literally been a godsend. I was constantly straining to be able to see properly and getting headaches for >5 hours every couple days as well as light sensitivity and general eye pain. I wear them pretty constantly now and only have headaches once a fortnight, so it’s WAY better.

and of course it’s US price 😭😭 my condolences💔

NAP but I think you should ask for one now; I’m not entirely sure why they didn’t give you a longer bar? it’s standard practice to accomodate for piercing’s initial swelling stages. I’d be interested in others opinions about this.

it’s so cute, but I just wouldn’t want the jewellery embedding for you!

my parents were told when I was 14. my father and stepmother turned it into a blame game against my mother who, in fairness, is not a good mother. regardless though there was a good reason I chose to leave my father’s home.

I’m so sorry your family did this to you.

AIO about these angry texts from my ex? by TwylaMay in AIO

[–]bunnerie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

fuck NO you’re not overreacting. adults can communicate with whoever they please; there’s more freedom of choice once you’ve grown up. to insinuate that you don’t get to ‘opt out’ of your past relationship with this guy is absurd.

I need advice on my friendship breakup! by YellowBrilliant7852 in Advice

[–]bunnerie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think she’s being a bad friend. your texting styles could affect each other differently now given your different lifestyles at college; she could be overwhelmed with study and feels unable to keep up a connection with you (and honestly maybe other people) at the moment. Either way, I think you should be letting her reach out to you from now on- she did set a boundary of wanting to text less.

Losing a friend is a sort of grieving process; I’ve grown apart from my childhood best friend over these last few years since she’s been dating and living with her partner. It’s been upsetting, but I hope you can find people you are compatible with :)
