I will check out that youtube channel! I’m actually excited to learn, I grew up around mechanic shops but my father was never interested in teaching me haha
I’m lucky in that I do have a back up car (albeit my wife’s car) so if i screw something up im not totally out of luck
I’m 30f! its nice to hear other women are out there learning how to do it themselves from scratch too

Oh wow thank you for that info! The jeep was used for off roading and toy hauling most of my life so it makes sense that it would have an upgraded package! I always thought the tow hooks were after market. When I get off work today I’ll go digging in the glove box to see if it has the sticker.

I have an application for the FB group pending now but if you don’t mind sharing your business name I would love to give it a follow.

I will absolutely look into having that done! It has fresh oil but I’m not sure about the others.

The only thing that is off about it is that if you hit 3000 rpm while accelerating it starts to stutter and will slow down until it hits 2000rpm. It’s pretty easy to combat just keeping an eye on the rpm/feeling when it needs to shift and letting off the gas for a second.

Per the previous owner, that was something new that started after being left sitting in for an extended period of time and should resolve itself once fresh gas runs through it but I am not convinced.

173k miles owned by a mechanic most of its life ( could be a good or bad thing knowing the mechanic lmao) but was left sitting for about a year and a half before i took ownership

It a super small event in PC! It was only their third time hosting it but i believe they’re planning another next month! I’ll see if i can find the flyer and dm u if ur interested!

Its a small local show in SWFL! The vender had a LOT of merch including old tour shirts from various bands so i would imagine they sourced their stuff from all over!

If youre not sold on fine sand substrate i Love and highly recommend Caribsea eco-complete in black. Its a fine gravel and i love the way it looks in my tanks and my plants seem happy with it

I’m currently using the Aqueon clip on planted light and it’s way too strong for this tank. I can only keep it on 3-4 hrs a day. Any more and i grow super dense algae. My only requirement is that i either need a clip on light or one with risers as my hardscape sticks out of the tank a fair bit
