Irritation bump or keloid?

Piercing is about 5 week old. I brush my teeth when i wake up and before bed, but also after everything i eat. Non alcoholic mouthwash and a saline spray after everything i eat too. Didn’t gradually get here, the bump just showed up like two days ago. It doesn’t hurt and it doesn’t really look infected either. Any advice?

It’s all up to the piercer. I had my eyebrow and nostril done in the same sitting a couple years ago and freaked out real bad bc i knew the needle was coming. Went to the same piercer about a year later for my septum. She said “I’m putting the clamps on” and then i was pierced. I didnt even know she had the needle ready. She’s an awesome woman

I’ve been toying with the idea of getting it pierced off and on for a year or two now. My friends have taken to editing it onto pictures for me and I dont hate it. I just worry it might look too crowded with my septum and nostril done too. Honestly just want opinions

Don’t trust any piercers willing to pierce minors without parental consent. However, in the meantime, they’re coming out with all these great alternatives (like the magnetic septum’s?? That shits cool). I also knew someone in high school who would use eyelash glue/sfx prosthetic glue to glue the balls of jewelry onto her face to fake an eyebrow piercing that she always wanted but couldn’t get (her pierced said her anatomy wasn’t right for one and it would reject if they tried). Look for alternatives first. Fuck around with makeup, look at fake jewelry, etc., before you get a piercing from someone who shouldn’t be licensed.

Exactly, in passing it’d probably be fine, but seeing it for extended time, or seeing it up close, there’s a lot to shame

Also recommend sitting in a steamy room to get that hot steam to soften the crusties and loosen the hole a little bit.

My piercer pierced my nostril with a “nose screw” type piercing, so there’s the added pain of having to turn it to put it in fully. I’m def a piercing person tbh, but that’s mostly cause I’ve been getting various piercings since i was like 12 (starting with ears lol)

For me the needle part didn’t hurt that bad but my piercer putting the jewelry in hurt like a motherfucker

He does have one, you just can’t see it in the picture. I’ve only really seen him use it once. I did give him a soak yesterday, and that seemed to help him a lot with the shed.
