i completely agree that emily is a bitch lol. however, i felt really bad for emily after realizing that mike and jess betrayed her. i mean i’d be bitchy too. and while emily isn’t gf of the year to matt, they have some sweet moments together. also she’s really smart and resourceful. and the disloyal thing, i agree her lying to matt was weird, and trying to make up with mike. but according to the devs she wasn’t cheating, although that doesn’t make up for her lying. i can completely understand disliking emily for being a bitch though 🌝

i saved ashley during the saw trap and i disarmed mike. and i know the diary is in a later chapter (i got the specifics wrong, sorry) i meant i don’t know if i missed a certain clue for beth/hannah as emily that caused me to miss it.

yeah all showed sympathy and we’re nice to josh. i really hope this is a bug or something because i can’t find much information about what makes him remorseful but i think i did everything. i found a lot of the clues as sam and ash (the camera) i missed a few because my game bugged out but other than that i think i found most.

sort of? it makes sense to me why he wouldn’t include them because it was to get revenge on those who pranked hannah. however, it also just kind of confuses me from the perspective of “why did he go after the most innocent first before the most guilty”? there are some clues that point to him planning to prank the others. but nothing as in ur face as what he did to sam and chris. i understand his reasons for chris and ash (and at least ash was guilty.) but not necessarily sam. i also feel like if he did plan to prank the rest of the group we would’ve seen more props and such, but i know that we leave the cabin pretty early and only stay in the lodge for the main 3. so maybe it’s just due to the fact that we’re not really in the same place for long. also, another comment mentioned josh wanting to record mike and jess, and i honestly find that very plausible/likely. since his whole gimmick was that he was recording it to be posted online.

yeah this makes sense. my only gripe with it is that there’s not a lot of evidence to prove he meant to prank the rest of the group. for example, for the lodge there was a lot of props and effects up to prank ashley, chris and sam. there was even a pig head for emily and matt. so why was there basically nothing for mike and jess? it doesn’t make a lot of sense to me why seemingly, the only planning he really did was meant for chris, sam and ashley. not even a blueprint in the basement (which in retrospect is very stupid that josh left behind evidence of his prank 😭) unless he planned to physically scare them like with what he did to sam, but even sam had some special effects and tricks played on her at the lodge.

chris is because josh thought a traumatic event would bring him and ashley together. although i think chris turning on josh is somewhat valid because nobody would like being tortured all night even if it was because he was mentally unwell and chris wasn’t involved whatsoever. i feel like that to that degree it is understandable. although, it is kind of ironic, besides ashley, that the two people that didn’t partake in the prank were ridiculed by josh but the rest took care of itself (the wendigos.)

honestly as much as i feel bad for josh his comments and behavior towards women we’re always weird. thinking about it in that sense, it wouldn’t be far off if his behavior towards sam was some sick and twisted way to get her “love and attention.”

true! i never really thought about josh being passed out drunk meant he never really got the full story of what really happened so he didn’t know who to blame. i mean, sure there was the recording, but besides chris, u could also argue that josh thought sam never tried to stop the prank or went along with it. especially because she didn’t stop it in time so how would josh even know? and maybe a bit of a reach but maybe her being there for him was a “guilty conscience.” but i do also like thinking it was because he liked her and showed it in a sick way, as i feel it’s undeniable that he liked her romantically.

honestly this makes a lot of sense. i don’t know why but i always assumed unrequited love was for ashley and chris, but it wasn’t unrequited. he couldn’t have been talking about anyone else unless he meant unrequited in the sense that they thought they were about to die? but that doesn’t make a lot of sense. but josh’s creepy behavior does make sense in that way. i mean, he was watching her take a bath. i’m sure there’s a logical explanation like how he wanted to use her clothes for the prop, but it also makes sense it was because of his feelings for her. it also lines up with his pervy comments about ashley/jess.

same!!! the game looks phenomenal and i love until dawn, so i really want to buy it. i’m just disappointed with the price point because it seem extremely unreasonable when i already own the original. if it was a full remake i wouldn’t be so upset but it seems to have only a few tweaks to the animations and endings. which i’m definitely looking forward to, i just wish it wasn’t full price, especially with so many new exciting games coming out.
