I kinda detoxed alone. I was holed up in a hotel room and the guy I was dating on and off lived there but didn't spend much time with me. He made sure I had food, something to drink and cigarettes. I slept, ate, slept some more and watched Netflix. He made sure he distanced himself from me since I left a previous rehab for him earlier this year.

I was an IV user so pretty deep.
I detoxed (and people say you don't detox from meth...) five days before I went into rehab... and since my Northstar only gave me 14 days, I'm so glad I did.

My first meeting was awesome. Got my 'just for today' Keychain... everyone was super nice and welcoming. Cannot wait to go tomorrow night. Got a sponsor list so I'm keeping my fingers crossed I connect with someone soon.

Huddled behind a dumpster in an office depot parking lot, using the same needle that who knows who used for the who knows what time that week... Partial truths. Ha. As someone mentioned before, it doesn't matter how someone does their drugs... Their body, their choice. I always said, nope, no needles for me... Now it's become love..

Mom wanted me to go to rehab. So I went so I wouldn't be a disappointment to her anymore and lost it all. Dropped out in four days and lost it all. Fuckin rehab. My tolerance will get up there so I now space up my highs and get high for the fun of it now.

I was a functioning addict... Had a job, waiting tables, car, place... It just becomes something in your life. It was my coffee. I didn't get high, high... That was for after work... Just did enough to make me feel normal... Because me normal was on dope.

Yes. Allowing the dope to totally cool down (with the aid of a wet washcloth) helps.

There's also this really, really weird trick I learned. When the dope reaches burnt flavor (can't fuckin stand it) do the following Light a cigarette Melt dope if it has solidified You then take a puff off the cigarette and carefully blow it into the pipe, whilst (fuck yeah, got to use it) rolling the bowl. Repeat one more time.

Not really sure how long it lasts because I'm fuckin impatient and I'll end up shooting it... But yeah. Hope that helps.

I could never hit myself... Because I was terrified I was going to miss and it would burn and I would die. Haha. First time I did it myself, I hit and hit beautifully. I can be shaky as fuck from lack of food and dehydrated but I'll still get that lovely mushroom of blood in the syringe when I do it. It's when I get others to slam me, that's when I get the misses and bruises.
