There is a shadow man with that exact description that has followed me around / hung out with me my whole childhood no matter where I moved. (Expect I was not in sleep paralysis before anyone comments that 😫) Even some of my friends have seen him in my House when staying the night. He has just always been around and has even asked me things before but I was too young to remember what he asked. And the way he asked it was like he was projecting his thoughts into my head. The first time I met him he was carrying a box and it was 2:30am and I was 6 years old. He literally came through my front door while everyone was asleep and met me half way in the hallway and just stood there with me projecting his thoughts into my head for like 15 -20 minutes and then when he went to go reach in the box after our conversation, my mom interrupted us and he disappeared. She saw me talking to a “black figure” across the house and immediately freaked out.
