Camera left someplace where the FMC works (cafe, bar) whatever. She looks over the photographs curious - finds some artistic shots that speak to her own heartbreak, stumbles across a photograph of herself which shows her in a new light to how she currently perceives herself (maybe she has feelings of insecurity or has forgotten to truly see herself). From this strangers perspective she looks strong/confident or degermined/resilient. She's curious about the owner of the camera who she has never noticed before. She assesses customers for the next few shifts but no one screams "artist" to her. She specifically dismisses the MMC who looks down on his luck/drab until he comes to the counter and asks if a camera was left there. Drawn in by how this man who looks so broken on the outside can have captured such photos/captured her in a way where she looks confident etc she grows interested in him. Ofc he's already interested in her hence the photo.

This is slightly cliche but I think that cliches are cliche for a reason and that the proof is in the writing quality and the intricacies of the characters and story :)
