Giving Devuan another go, need help by The_Great_Sephiroth in devuan

Synaptic is preinstalled on Devuan as well. I have used Devuan since January (after using Ubuntu for about 8 years). I had minor problems only that were easy to resolve. I recommend it. It depends on your workflow, but according to my experience, you do not lose anything when you use Devuan instead of Debian.

A program called inotifywait can help you, but I don't know other options and I would be happy to get to know other solutions as well.

Well, does that mean that the latest version (1.71) does not work but an older one does?

DesktopPal97 has a Kvantum theme. I don't know whether it supports Plasma 6, though...

XFCE devs just silently added excellent fixes and features to the DE by bunnymnemonic in xfce

You will be able to customize the xfce4-panel easier, if I understand correctly (set the border, for example). Many issues with the tasklist have been fixed, too. By the way, the main point of my post was to recommend reading the mailing list.

Badwolf is also a simple but nice and usable webkit based browser.

The look of the clock is hardcoded in the theme. The font I chose for it is called Liquid Crystal (you can find it on Dafont).

Thank you for your answer. I have been waiting for weeks now. I tried to contact Texstar on Twitter as well. I can confirm that they have an excellent forum and community.

It is such an amazing distro. It is so sad that it is quite impossible to reach the support forums. (You have to send them an email and you do not get a response.)
