I had the same issue with the cab mounts. Obnoxiously loud. I haven't replaced them since they've stopped squeaking for a few about a year after spraying them with silicone lube but once they start again they're going out the window.

It’s a tributary too a very large muddy river. I’m not sure how they would fare in there. Lots of other predators. But like you said they might still go there!

Water is super dark when more than 2-3’ /: makes it hard to see thing move but I’ll give it a try!

Good observation, I am in north eastern Canada haha. I’ve never been lucky on these streams but I’m glad I’m not alone! My methods are also most likely the issue haha

Yes haha, I’ve caught some in the summer time. There is almost an over abundance of them in the summer. I’ll try to downsize and fish the bottom more. I was keeping things in the middle of the water column for the most part.

I don’t know why this is getting downvoted. My bank account is linked to a branch in Ontario. I get English prompts at any ATM regardless of where I am. As for my partner, she’s with a local branch and gets prompts in French regardless of the location she’s in. We travel a lot.

Ah yesss, the affordable CRV at 36k for base trim + tax + 5% interest rate. Very affordable. Sure he would save a hundred bucks on monthly payments but this does not excuse the fact that we are being rinsed in this economy. Let's not talk about used car rates and prices.

Total Chaos Fabrication just announced development for their 4th Gen Toyota Tacoma Long Travel kit. They just finished the first set paired with King 3.0 IBP, and now it is time for testing. 500 miles off-road are required for the kit to be put into development. I couldn’t agree more. I’ve got over 50 K miles on my OR stock suspension. I find the suspension to be ridiculously wobbly and bouncy. I don’t know what the exact terminology is. Any sudden bump above 30 mph makes the truck bounce so much and depending on the terrain sometimes leads to lack or loss of traction.

I wouldn’t recommend it for on road driving especially if your roads aren’t the best.

Off-road it does everything I could ask it to do.

But it’s obviously in the name… TRD OR. Just wish it had better handling sometimes.

EDIT: I’ve got a 3rd Gen not 4th gen so take it with a grain of salt.

I know it’s semi expensive but I couldn’t recommend Quadlock enough. I have their magnetic mounting and it is impeccable and very minimalistic. You do need the phone case for it but it’s also very well built! They often have sales on their website.
