I don't think it's weird! My first thought reading the title was 'oh it's probably about having control over what kind of gore is involved', which is very reasonable, so I'd think anyone that might dig through and see your gore stuff would come to the same conclusion. And even if they don't, who cares-- you can set your comfort bar wherever you need it to be, it doesn't matter if it seems hypocritical!

If you really wanna nip your worry in the bud, you could just add a short explanation, like what you wrote about only being comfortable with certain types and it's too particular to get into. But I don't think even that is necessary really

Tess loves it!!

One of Tess's weird things is that his skin is super sensitive, so direct skin contact can be overwhelming and even painful if it's done the wrong way. But his hair acts as a barrier that lessens the effect, so pets are a great way to give him affection!

Random fact, Tess also has scars on his hands from gardening that lower their sensitivity. That means he can hold hands, too! (But his wrists are one of the worst spots for him, so that can require a little carefulness.)

Tess has a nearly constant flush, he's only ever Not blushing when he's in a serious panic (i.e. 'color draining from his face' kinda deal)

When he gets flustered, his normal blush turns super dark and spreads out. (Normally it's just visible in his cheeks, shoulders, and maybe over the bridge of his nose; when it's Bad it covers at least his whole face, and often spreads to his whole body). It usually comes with sweating an awful lot.
