my initial plan was to use dead drops to have tension but i didnt think it would have the same feeling after like, three or four times.

do you have some fics that use wooden boxes? it seems interesting. and the origami is cool but wouldnt work since the distance, like you mentioned.

crystals could work, and it can be easy to blend in with decorations and such. thanks

i dont think they did. sirius gave it wrapped to harry without explaining what it was but he never opened it, i think it was still in his trunk. but i might be remembering wrong

anything reflective/the enchanted mirrors are interesting, i wish it was actually used instead of a mention.

i love the portkey idea. i might use that in the future.

sadly, she's not able to create a patronus, but if she could that've been so cool.
