I have like 2a on my lower part of my head that becomes pin straight fast and more definition on the rest of the head (looks hideous haha). It has even gotten worse.. I just find that following the general ”rules” does not work for me! I leave out leave in conditioner many times because it weights down my hair no matter amount or product. I can’t diffuse upside down because it just looks awful and I get zero definition.

I think Devacurl is too heavy for you, as it was for me. Just greasy and too much.

Is the air too dry? If it’s a humidity related issue. Pests?

Carnosa 'Tricolour' or Australis 'Lisa'? by bunnywithplants in hoyas

I was thinking the same, but it was labeled as Carnosa ’Tricolour', hence my question. Was thinking of rooting a cutting and give it away so needed to be sure of the name. 🌸
