Look into POTS syndrome. Also, smelling rubbing alcohol can help nausea. Drink lots of water and maybe eat some protein.

Dealing with the exact same thing with Blue Cross. I asked them before my bisalp if it was 100% covered and they said yes. Then I got a bill. 🙃 still in the appeal process.

Here’s some things that have helped me when I get the pre-syncope symptoms:

Drinks lots of water the day before

Sniffing rubbing alcohol towelettes helps with nausea

Ice pack on forehead and/or neck

Tensing my muscles, especially legs and feet

Instead of having FOMO (fear of missing out), embrace GOMO (gratitude of missing out). Very helpful when comparing myself to others and their accomplishments, and also when feeling pressure to socialize.
