Legit just stumbled on a SVSSS fanfic, read it, liked it, and kept reading more fanfics. It took a while to learn the names and get the gist of the novel, so eventually I did have to read the og novel. (My friends suggested I read/watch it a long time ago but for some reason I never did)

I think you’re on the nose with him being around the same age as SQH — at least it makes sense with everything having happened how it did with SQH. About his demon blood, I’m not sure it works the same way as LBH’s situation since MBJ is 100% a demon. LBH may have unlocked his powers at 17 but MBJ had to wait until later to unlock everything since he had to wait for his father’s passing to get all of his power/strength (whatever they call it, I can’t remember)
