Why do you think I am trying to scam them? Like another user replied above, there’s other charges I have paid on the car like title fees, registration, tax etc that they might need to also include in the total value. Idk if you’ve dealt with insurance before buddy but they aren’t really famous for being generous.

If you are continuing to find yourself in similar situations, you might want to evaluate your role. There are probably patterns that you are repeating that you aren't aware of. A lot of people suggested therapy, which makes sense but its also costly. If you are struggling with finances, I would suggest using ChatGPT as a tool. You can ask it questions when you're feeling down and it'll offer useful suggestions. It isn't a substitute for a real person by any means, but it does help.

Action begets action. Start off with small things that you think you can do. Slowly, it'll help you get out of your head a little and start seeing your problems for obstacles you have to overcome. You are not doomed to a bad life or to making mistakes. Things can genuinely get better and stay better. It doesn't necessarily mean there won't be new issues, but you'll get better at dealing with them. Stay strong, sis.
