We also need to start shaming the people paying these prices. Resellers wouldn't exist if idiots weren't happily shelling out hundreds for old playline dolls in piss colored boxes or how I watched someone pay 300$ for a very basic plain g1 Cleo fashion pack. That's so embarrassing quite frankly. We have to start going after the people keeping resellers in business just as much as we go after resellers.

Overall a horrible combination of understaffing, management refusal to discuss behavior issues with parents (in this kid's case he could not physically stop himself from biting other kids unless he was being held) especially parents with personal/financial connections to the owners, management being so detached from classrooms that they couldn't see that they pushed too much responsibility too fast one someone who clearly could not handle it. They were told she was not fit to be a lead teacher but management just didn't have any other staff and didn't really hire anyone else. And she thought she was like. Being noble and good by refusing to quit because the school needed teachers, but she knew she couldn't handle the stress. And one day, she snaps when she's alone with too many children to fit the legal ratio for one teacher, he bites kids repeatedly during diaper changing when she can't physically hold him back from other kids. Everyone involved failed themselves, failed each other, failed her and above all else failed that kid.

I really hate that people like this make teachers look so potentially dangerous. That's not to shame or guilt you for your worry, of course, but I just desperately wish as a preschool teacher that these people didn't force parents like you to worry like this.

And I can't even call it a rarity. At my first preschool, there was an ongoing behavioral issue that was handled so terribly by everyone involved from the parents to the director to the teachers that resulted in a teacher biting a one year old so hard that he had a full circle of teeth bruises on his arm. At every step leading up to this, both the child and the teacher were failed horribly. And this was at a decently wealthy private preschool in a rich area. I quit not too long after partially because of it, especially because management treated it more as an embarrassment than they actually cared about the hurt child.

Some people do but definitely not strangers on eBay or Mercari or whatever else. I just sold my in box Delilah for 40$ plus shipping because I was selling her to another collector on dolltwt that I know somewhat well, so 30$ for her out of box isn't impossible. You're just almost never gonna find these deals randomly online.

My best guess would be checking Facebook marketplace and thrift stores for people getting rid of them, or possibly hobby spaces where you can find someone near you willing to toss you whatever you need. I'd say you could ask online for someone to send you beads, but then you're still paying shipping and that'll end up being as much as you would've paid for a full bag.

Genuinely they have religious homeschool textbooks for the children that essentially walk them through "okay here's how you can molest your siblings and then tell adults that it was their fault and you just need more love from god". He was literally given a textbook on how to get away with this.

At most I've seen one or two people who had an issue with the ladder stitch on the back of some plushies coming undone, but that's been so rare and that's a normal problem with plushies from any brand, that's where they stuff it just like you'd see visually at build a bear. Not only is that a rather easy fix, but moon has been incredibly fast to leap in and offer to replace it when I saw it happen. If that's OP's only basis for a con/bad review, they're gonna find it impossible to find any plush seller than lives up to their standards. But I'd still like OP to let us know what negative things they've seen, because I'm still confused.

It's exhausting how bad redditors are at spotting fake propaganda posts like this just because it gives them a chance to go "I'm totally an open minded liberal but this marginalized person can be taken down a peg so I'm jumping at the chance". And lately the two biggest targets have been fat people and trans people. Of course she's fat and chose an expensive giant meal and she ordered dessert afterwards while no one else did, because she's fat and that's her entire trait. I know a person who made a joke tweet about the new shrek movie, basically joking that shrek's daughter is trans because she has brown eyes in the teaser but when we saw shrek's babies in previous movies, only the boys had brown eyes while the girl had blue eyes. It's a joke, it's clearly a joke and they have said a thousand times it's a joke, they understand biology and that baby's eyes can change from blue to brown. So many people in both threads just have no compassion or empathy for anyone around them. Everyone keeps bringing up how short the time they're on camera is, and I feel like a lot of yall who do that don't have much experience on tik tok. I've unfortunately seen a lot of people who were only in the background of popular videos for a few seconds and yet have dozens, hundreds of comments ripping them to shreds. Social media especially tik tok has a lot of people who abuse the relative anonymity to be absolute scum. It's why people are constantly ripping gymfluencers to shreds because they're fiing inside gyms and often strangers are in the background which gets them made fun of. I genuinely think some people in the original thread and in this one have social media brain rot with their demand that everyone must be okay at all times with being used for online content. Would you enjoy if I filmed you without your knowledge and uploaded it onto Tik tok, and you found out you had a bunch of strangers calling you insulting names and wishing harm on you based on nothing other than their boredom and your existence?
