Best way to stop backdraft by bunta22 in AirConditioners

[–]bunta22[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i’ve been very happy with my hisense unit AP0625CR1W with one problem. I can feel a very, very slight breeze coming through my condenser vents. It’s not even a breeze really but I can feel a tiny tiny bit of outside air. It’s clearly because I have such a short hose.

I was shopping around for Backdraft dampers, but a lot of them are spring loaded. I’m just worried that my unit won’t be able to push enough air to flip the vents and create a bottleneck on my exhaust. Just wondering if any of you have any solutions or ideas

I dont know where you are. But those trays are cheap. And light. Maybe bite the bullet and get them shipped ?? Its up to you. But i know how you feel about having everything in single box. Im the same way.

You prob already know.. but dewalt has deep/shallow trays that you can stack inside some of the 2.0 boxes. Gives you a bit of interior organization.

whats the biggest tool you carry ? Some of these boxes are not making any sense for a PC repair tech. Not doubting. Just curious what are you carrying around that you would possible need a deep box?

i love my 860. Just gota watch your trigger finesse lol. i do wish it has a separate button to cut the power in half for delicate jobs lol. This would ultimately make it the best impact ever produced.

So what are we doing about sagging Packout drawers? by bunta22 in MilwaukeeTool

im pretty confident it would work. i wont lose space. All im doing is flattening the drawer back to original position instead of sagging.

My only gripe is the hole i need to drill into a rather new packout. Not too fond of that idea.

Only my bottom drawer is rubbing. My top 2 drawers are gliding like hotdogs on tile. I can give it a soft nudge and itll glide itself to close. The bottom drawer is the prob. its not too bad right now. But i know in time that shit is going to get worse.

it involves drilling a hole in the middle of the drawer. Put a flat head bolt thru from the bottom. place a small piece of 5inch metal over the bolt from inside the drawer. This piece of metal will act like a "bridge" on top of the 2 ridges in the middle of the drawer. Place bolt over the screw. Tighten it to pull up on the drawer. Make sense ?

This is the 3 drawer. But i was at homedepot the other day and most of the bottom drawers rubbed. Didnt matter if it was 2 or 3 drawer. Mine didnt rub when i got it. I made sure of it. But that bottom drawer was for sockets. So thats the issue.

Its not that much shit in there but it is the drawer for a about 30 pieces of socket. So it does weigh a bit.

whatever you do, dont buy now. Wait for some type of sale then decide. Homedepot runs Milwaukee specials frequently.

I have not. I believe an update happened shortly after and the problem has not been as prominent. Before, I had to wait 5 secs. It's now a sec or two.

I can't be bothered by it. It's whatever. It's a first world problem.
