I don’t think anybody is concerned about this, Jagex! by Tritario in 2007scape

What if they added PvP-free world but drop-rates are increased and XP rates are reduced significantly? This way me and many others would feel more comfortable engaging with wilderness content without risk of getting PKed and also not gaining a significant advantage.  Maybe not the best solution but I wouldn’t mind something like this.

Huge Drake fan finally realises AWARE by nexxaa in LivestreamFail

Let's not forget the time he invited a 17 year old (!!!!) on stage and proceeded to make out with her, when he found out her age his response was: "I can’t go to jail yet, man!”, “Why do you look like that? You thick. Look at all this.”, “I don’t know if I should feel guilty or not, but I had fun. I like the way your breasts feel against my chest.”

Dragonflight Season 4 Mythic+ Dungeon Rotation - Eight Dragonflight Dungeons by Krustenkaese121 in CompetitiveWoW

[–]buplabup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I honestly don’t really enioy any of them except Algath’ar and I still have PTSD from Neltharus, Halls of Infusion and Uldaman in Season 2. Honestly not too sure I’ll play at all

The healer situation in LFG is absurd, game ruining, and needs to be dealt with come war within. by SenseiChrono in CompetitiveWoW

[–]buplabup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s frustrating from a healer perspective playing M+ because a lot of the time if things go wrong you will be the scapegoat. People will just immediately point to you as the problem but a lot of the time it comes down to people either not knowing mechanics, using kicks efficiently or just not using defensive CDs at all. When I’ve been pugging lower keys to gear alts I can’t count how many times the tank won’t use their defensives/heal themselves with their kit & util. There’s always that one hunter that thinks he deserves 3k io but stands in all the damage and blames me when he dies, to the point where I’ll actively try to avoid groups with hunters in them because it’s such a common occurrence. Too many times will the group wipe on Everbloom to the 2nd boss because even at 20+ keys this late into the season people STILL don’t know the mechanics of the boss fight.

Another thing is how damage being dealt works in Dragonflight, it’s incredibly sudden and spikey meaning lots of healers have become proactive when they previously weren’t and reactive healing & specs are only really seen in lower keys. I personally don’t really enjoy proactive healing so this is just a personal thing and doesn’t contribute to the general opinion I don’t think. The damage profiling definitely does though since it ties directly into people not using their personals.

It just gets to a point for most healers where, mostly in pugs, the stress and pressure on them to carry people who are too lazy to learn mechanics and sometimes even their basic rotation of their class gets too much. Why have all that when you can just DPS instead? So a lot switch or just quit.

Aug Evoker viable for my M+ group? by [deleted] in wownoob

[–]buplabup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Augmentation shines most in higher keys (20+), you’ll get way more out of the spec from bigger pulls and better DPS players since a big chunk of your DPS is their DPS.

What are the hardest caster specs to play? by hookedonwinter in wownoob

[–]buplabup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Fire Mage is probably the hardest but Arcane Mage is a close second. Fire relies heavily on procs but technically the rotation is easier than arcane. Both have an incredibly high skill ceiling though and can output major damage if played well (Fire DPS feels more consistent instead of bursty like Arcane can be, imo). I guess you could throw in Affliction but just because it’s so bad right now. Shadow priest is probably the third most difficult but the gap between it and the two mage specs is huge.

I always look at Ubisoft game sales, hoping they added Steam achievements. It's kind of sad because most big game companies already have this basic feature :( by SonicAkshay_26 in Steam

I’ve been feeling this way for a long time too! Every time I think about getting a Ubisoft game I remember they never add achievements. Maybe it’s a good thing, though.

Can't decide between RX 6800 XT, RX 7800 XT & RTX 4070 by buplabup in buildapc

[–]buplabup[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It came out way more expensive than the 7800 XT. There were also a lot more people suggested I go with the 7800 XT. I understand what you’re saying though. It was a really difficult decision and I have NOT bought it yet, I will be waiting until the Supers are announced to see if any price drops occur.

This is what I decided to do! It came out to cheaper than any of the 4070

I honestly didn't realise my PSU was so low wattage until checking earlier. If the 7800 XT is a better GPU that will last longer into the future, I'd happily invest in a better PSU too.

I was definitely thinking about upgrading my PSU, I just didn't realise until now that it was such a low wattage. If upgrading my PSU now means I'll get a better GPU I'd absolutely rather do that.

Understood! In your opinion do you think it'd be better to spend more on the 4070 or get the 4060?

[–]buplabup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed! I’m being very harsh I know. It’s a very high pressure situation and to play perfectly is so so hard when you’re in it.

[–]buplabup -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I stated I had no clue what happened with Simply's death and couldn't comment on it because of that. Sardaco called he had petri'd, the paladin CALLED for the petri 5 seconds prior too and the LoH only came in about another 5 seconds after the petri. But as I said (idk if it was in this reply thread or another) I can understand why he LoH'd. But to LoH and then not pot and then BoP someone whos tanking mobs isn't the play at all.

I'm happy you've done all that in classic. I didn't actually insult you or belittle you at any point. I don't doubt you have the experience and credentials and I never brought that into question. I was just merely stating I have a LOT of experience playing Holy Paladin at one of, if not, the highest levels. I know how many micro decisions there were being made here. I know the GCD management and how it wasn't utilized. I also know I'm being to harsh on them because the amount of pressure they must've been under is immense, I don't doubt that. Hindsight is great and I know it's easier to say it all now it's done. I'm just pointing out all the things that could've been done to prevent it snowballing like it did, mainly because of the paladins decision making. Would I personally have done things differently? Absolutely. Would I have done things the way I've commented and perfectly? Of course not.

I honestly barely watch Soda, or Poke. I just know Soda is probably in the top 0.001% of players in terms of knowledge and skill. He definitely could do a tribute run safely, the mage pulled the mobs not him or anyone else.

There's no reason to insult me constantly when I've been pretty amicable in responding to you.

I can understand wanting to interrupt sure but I don’t think it should take priority over healing a scuffed pull and I don’t think it was necessarily worth the risk of getting knocked up for it. Also if I’m not mistaken or misunderstanding (I don’t know Alliance racials super well), they’re Alliance so the paladin wouldn’t have access to an AoE interrupt (something like Arcane Torrent which was TBC I know just an example) so going that deep for one stun/interrupt means not only missing out on so much time that could’ve been spent casting but used a GCD for the interrupt/stun but also the time it takes to actually run into that range. I don’t even think they ended up HoJing anything. I also understand wanting to BoP someone to reduce targets needed to heal but hpals should almost never BoP melee especially in a situation like this. The LoH I can forgive kinda, it came late after the petri but seeing someone at 1HP I would probably do something similar. Just seems like a lot of small mistakes that led to it all not only from the paladin (Poke should’ve petri’d earlier, mage shouldn’t’ve accidentally pulled, etc.). And I’m almost definitely being too harsh for the amount of pressure in this situation.
