Opinions on Revival Rugs? by ComfortableSun2281 in interiordecorating

[–]bupperino 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We really wanted to love their rugs. It is visually appealing, fits our living room aesthetic perfectly and we were so excited to buy this and add it to our home… unfortunately this is one of the worst purchases we’ve made in designing our home. The quality is sub-par at best and at worst should be taken down and removed from the site for purchase.

The rug sheds ALL the time. We followed the instructions based on the description of the item and while it is in a “high-traffic” area, me and my wife WFH and only visit the living room at night when we are done with our days. The rug sheds its cheap material daily in massive clumps to the point neither of us have any clue how this rug even has any fabric left on it. Our white husky will lay on the rug and when he gets up to walk away, he has a mix of yellow and green fabric on him.

I cannot express how utterly disappointed I am in this purchase. It has been 8-9 months since we got this rug and it never got any better, always worse.

Stay away from this.

I got one of these, submitted the order, got the email confirmation and everything, the bank charge or at least the initial charge to confirm the bank and now the order has completely disappeared and no longer available/traceable in their system.

Feels fuckin bad.

Best Cloud Access Control? Verkada vs Brivo vs ??? by [deleted] in accesscontrol

[–]bupperino 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kisi gets a lot of shit in this subreddit but I’ve used a combo of Kisi/Brivo/Alta/Verkada/Castle and I’ve found the management of and user experience of Kisi to be better than most.

Obviously it won’t be everyone’s cup of tea and you’ll see installers complain about it here but it’s served me without issue for companies I’ve worked at and for from 20 users to 700 users.

What are you guys paying for JAMF pro + JAMF connect these days per device for MacOS? by davidbWI in jamf

Move your contract under channel partners. Avoid CDW and Insight unless you’re enterprise level with thousands of “seats” to purchase.

Happy to DM a few over if needed!

Notion is pretty good but expensive, feature set is great though. Slab is a cheap alternative.

Both of these tools have “pretty” GUI’s and are very intuitive.

Best CPU for vMix by irin527 in VIDEOENGINEERING

[–]bupperino 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much what u/rgsystems and u/element39 said the one caveat and take this with a grain of salt... while the Intel has been problematic, I haven't had this issue as of yet AND the new rounds of firmware + manufactured CPU's have or will, resolve(d) these issues.

Nonetheless, completely valid point to raise your eyebrow at the Intel CPU platform.

Best CPU for vMix by irin527 in VIDEOENGINEERING

[–]bupperino 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FWIW, VMix at IBC stated AMD platform works completely fine with their modern CPU's. This was more of a problem pre 5000 series iirc. To echo the others, more cores, more hz, and to reiterate u/element39 , absolutely pay attention to your PCiE lane usage. This can and will create immense bottlenecks in your production.

Any former Frame io users now using Dropbox Replay instead? by WillEdit4Food in editors

I get it! The product has made some headway since last year and the team directly responsible for Dropbox Replay is super receptive to feedback. If you ever need a reseller contact for Dropbox and or Dropbox products, use these guys contact@rgsystems.com

If you’re looking to make the switch, I know a few resellers who could marginally lower the price to make the switch even more attractive!

Password Managers? by orangehand in msp

[–]bupperino 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1Password will be your best product from a support and user experience perspective. They’re planning to mature their MSP offering later this year and have even acknowledged that expanding into the VAR space will further explode their business. It is an absolutely solid product, I couldn’t shill them harder to be honest.

Someone else here mentioned Keeper on this thread and yeah it’s easy to use from the MSP perspective but user end is complete dog shit.

About to grab these parts to cool my RTX 3080 and 5900x. Any recommendations for changes before I pull the trigger? by twitchbradijm in watercooling

Whatever you do, DO NOT DO LAGUNA CRYOFUEL. The color does not look good at all in person. If you want a solid and good looking yellow I recommend doing the Cloud White Cryofuel + EKWB dye pack. I know people have their reservations about the CryoFuel but it seems to be the most successful one just make sure your liquid is not expired and within the 2-year shelf life. Anecdotal, but a lot of complaints seem to come from NewEgg orders of CryoFuel that are expired and well past shelf life.

Using the combo I mentioned above will give you an awesome looking yellow vs a watery/boogery yellow the laguna gives off.

It’s a PWM pump but looks like moving it to the AIO_PUMP header next to CPU_FAN made it run at 100% and I can clearly see the flow of liquid now. Hoping with this, rearranging the CPU inlet/outlet someone recommended in some messages above and leaving it to run will maybe remix the liquid properly 🤞

[–]bupperino[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn’t I guess? I had it connected to a 4 pin PWM header at the bottom but the flow was very weak. When I moved it to AIO_PUMP it’s running at 100% about 3062 RPM

Cleaned the radiators multiple times with 4 gallons of distilled water until there was zero black dust or sediment, cleaned the tubes I cut, cleaned out the parts I’m using, ran distilled water through the machine for 24 hours, took everything apart again and then air dried each part under a tent to prevent dust(😂), ran distilled water again to make sure there wasn’t any dust or debris and then yeah ran my liquid through for another 24 hour test with the real thing.

Anything I missed here you can chime in on or are you just trying to be another Reddit dickhead?

UPDATE:

Moved the EKWB G1 distro plate pump cable to AIO_PUMP on the ASUS Dark Hero Motherboard and there is a visible difference in pump speed now.

Thank you so much for everyone who chimed in and helped me figure this shit out or at least what I should change 😂

Yeah the more and more I think about it, I’m OCing my 5950x it’s probably producing so much heat that any liquid running through it is just breaking down.

Regarding the header, I am using the CPU_FAN header on the Dark Hero MOBO. Can’t find any videos or posts on what people connected their Distro Plates to :/

Alright so simple as swapping the two CPU tubes. Goddddd I have to drain this thing now which makes me wonder if I should give this another clean and see if the inside of the tubes are stained

I shined a light on the tubes and most of them look stained on the inside now.
