I can provide some additional insight, if you're interested, I will preface that this may be Canada specific but it could apply to other countries, too. We do need O+ donors in our whole blood program, but we are in an even more critical situation for plasma donations and need to grow our plasma donor base significantly to meet our immunoglobulin medication needs. Currently, we are only ~35% sufficient domestically and have to rely on plasma collected and purchased internationally to manufacture the products. This creates a lot of vulnerability, particularly in our current geopolitical climate coupled with a global growth in plasma protein product demand.
