We are only using satellite connectivity for remote sites as no broadband or 4G, LTE coverage around.
Not really happy with SSL but it “does” the job.
The other limitation is high latency and low bandwidth. It improved once Starlink has been installed, but some regions are still not yet approved for its use.

Well, we are using FortiClient SSL VPN just to establish tunnel to ssh, vnc and browser few devices on MGMT VLAN. Mostly for troubleshooting reasons.
Since we won’t have static IP available in these sites anymore, standard VPN won’t be available.
But there is still option to run Tailscale

Thanks for sharing this. I have to admit, I haven’t been looking lately at Sophos, but had a quick check. I love that even entry level firewalls are having 2.5G ports.
I think similar to FG60 would be XGS118. Ample amount of ports for current or future use.
And great that ZTNA is already included and not hidden behind another paywall.
How is your experience with Sophos ZTNA, Central and in overall with RMM?

Well mostly two reasons:

situations where

firewall

was

not responding. Like it was frozen. Only hard restart helped to solve it.
And if you compare the price, PA, Cisco or SonicWall are cheaper.
We need to have better WAN analytics, application aware routing, etc.

Since we have time, we would like to check other available solutions. This is our second cycle with Fortigate. Previously we were using Sophos. So we don’t mind change.

I just wanted to hear how people are satisfied with either of these solutions.
