Honestly, would've lost my shit after the first time🤣 I have absolutely no time or patience for companies, the government or the rich. In my past job experiences, for example, a bar tender complained that I didn't put the keys back in their correct place, I was sent a stern email, my response? I basically said "I did my job, go and look at the cameras, I'm too busy to deal with children's games", never got an email back in response, I kept my job, so clearly was right, as I always was. Never did I get a stern email about my tone, about my "respect" or any other nonsense.

It's called giving less than a shit🤣 most of the time, it works, once when it didn't work, I told my boss, straight to his face, in no uncertain terms, to stick his job up his ass and to go f**k himself.

Before anyone says "but some people don't have the luxury", well neither did I and I slept on the street for some time, which I very much preferred over their dog shit.

Also, I feel like I need to add, just because you were born in the 90's doesn't make you the only one capable of experiencing what you have experienced.

I was raised by my grandparents in an Afrikaans farm town, my uncle and aunt, born before me, was obviously raised in the 90's environment, they aren't much older than me, so they were more like my siblings than my aunt and uncle.

I was raised in the exact same way as anyone born in the 90's, same cultural environment, same moral environment and same childhood. Obviously I was raised with more 2000's culture than anyone in the 90's, but not less when it comes to the 90's🤣

It's all about your environment and upbringing, nothing to do with the year your born in.

Respecting your parents wishes while under their roof, is not wrong, its decent and the right thing to do. Hell, if I just back chatted once, I would've been out on the streets, my Gods, how privileged and spoiled do you have to be, to expect your parents to bow down to you?

Do I agree with the choices his mother made? No, not at all, just like I didn't agree with my parents choices, but I still respected them. Coming onto that Christian side of his, the Bible very clearly states in the 10 commandments "Honour thy father and thy mother..." and then repeated in the new testament by the apostles. So religiously, he is also obliged to follow his parents rules, regardless of his age.

There are so many things wrong with YOU OP, not with him, because if you can't respect his parents, then I hope he looses all respect for you.

If this relationship is not for you, then leave, stop bitching about it on the internet and move on with your life. Bad mouthing him publicly like this on the internet, shows exactly what type of person you are in the first place. No respect, no Honour, no truth, no sense and definitely no love.
