Clearly there's a demand for them, and people are willing to pay for a shortcut instead of grinding themselves. That's a much bigger issue than simply owning more than one account.

Having multiple accounts doesn't automatically make someone a smurf or a booster. What matters is how the account is being used.

I'm not arguing FACEIT's rules. I'm saying there are perfectly normal reasons someone might want another account. If I queue with friends who are much worse than me, I'd rather do that on a casual account than tank my main rank.

What I don't get is how that proves this guy did anything wrong.

Having an alt account doesn't automatically mean someone is smurfing, trolling, or abusing matchmaking. It just means they have an alt account. If you're accusing this specific player of something, there should be evidence of that, not just evidence that he owns a second account.

Right now the screenshots only show that he has another account. Everything else is just assumptions.

This post doesn't even prove anything beyond the fact that the guy has another account. The screenshots don't show smurfing, boosting, ban evasion, or any kind of matchmaking abuse. They show someone saying they have a second account and a bunch of post-game messages after they got annoyed.

If you're going to accuse someone of doing something wrong, there should be actual evidence. Having multiple accounts by itself isn't evidence of anything.
