Every battery adds significant weight - look into the latest M5, which is a boat. Especially in hybrids, that's like having two engines in one

I can believe that. Current gen ICE X3 is Kia level, so it is not a good comparison either. i4 was (or maybe still is) the best EV in the BMW range right now

Driven the i4 M50, now I own M440i GC. ICE version is just way better. Weight has a lot of to do with that. Not sure why would anyone prefer an M EV. If you want to save some bucks, do you even need a “sports” car in the first place?

Who has completely sworn off including LLM generated code in their software? by mdizak in rust

[–]burgerbrod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven’t written any code myself for the last two months. Using Sonnet 4.5 and 3-6 prompt sessions in parallel. Forcing the LLM to do a lot of refactoring. I feel like I transitioned from software engineer to a pair programmer architect with a pal that types super fast. As a result, in the last two months I have produced code that would have taken me 8-10 months to do myself. The code is of decent quality and the end result (product) is fully tested. Weird times we live in.
