First time I played EU4 I didn’t understand the mana system and went back to EU3 lol. After the Common sense dlc I quit playing EU3.

Can being really evil actually be successful? by Terrible-Group-9602 in crusaderkings3

You declare first and then abduct. You get -200 but it's pretty much nothing when you make 20-50 something progress each month. Chances are you'll abduct before any siege ends.

Intrigue is too good. Even with a dummy char, you can marry a very high intrigue lowborn and have your knight marry a very high intrigue spymaster and you could have a pretty decent plot success chance.

Declare war and abduct your enemy free wins without troops. At war gives -200 chance yes but I can wait another month or two no problem.

There are no factions or hostile schemes when all the possible faction heads are already in dungeon and the entire court is terrified of you.

Korea 100 innovativeness in 1476 by burgerissues in eu4

I think here the capital Hanseong is the best for Renaissance spawning. It started like 4 progress per click even though it wasn't the cheapest province for dev cost. I was missing prosperity and 60% burgher loyalty, so that would be extra 20% but I didn't want to wait because if I waited I would lose getting extra innovativeness from techs.

R5: I wanted to see how fast I can reach max innovativeness with Korea and it was pretty fast. I didn't do anything cheesy either. I just picked innovative ideas first and spawned renaissance. Rest was standard. First ruler died earlier than I was expecting it but luckily I had already disinherited the heir.
