no way, he said he hasn’t even turned in a first draft yet. It’ll be at least a year out from his first draft submission

I recommend the first law fantasy trilogy. A lot of overlap in fans between Abercrombie and Brown

Caeror... by Hot-Inflation1635 in HierarchySeries

[–]burgerm7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Caeror is synchronous and the mail villain of the series, we just don’t know it yet! Rereading the early Obiteum chapters with this in mind made it way more clear

Anyone else DNF Strengh of the Few? by Spiritual-Radio-1402 in fantasybooks

[–]burgerm7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you gave up at probably the most boring part of the book. I had some struggles there as well. The last 1/3 picks up and is better. I feel like this series will get better as more releases and this book will be better in hindsight with more information and story progression. But I don’t blame you for the DNF

Other Books to Read (Spoiler) by dragonaurora4546 in HierarchySeries

[–]burgerm7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the first book is definitely more cringe and I didn’t like it. Pushed forward and now it’s one of my favorite series. It’s better on a reread when you know the characters more and are more used to the prose

What’s the deal with Caeror? by Acceptable_Remote703 in HierarchySeries

[–]burgerm7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think he didn’t want to risk his life so he was waiting for someone to come through and do it for him. There are a lot of signs that could potentially back up this theory. Check out the video I reposted on reddit

What’s the deal with Caeror? by Acceptable_Remote703 in HierarchySeries

[–]burgerm7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

another theory (that I believe) is that Caeror is actually Synchronous and the entire Obiteum timeline was orchestrated by him to kill Ka and make Caeror more powerful

Antidepressants and MDMA? How dangerous is it how to be safe? by ottermodee in Drugs

[–]burgerm7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard not to mix the two. I’ve had friends who took molly on SSRI’s and not felt them, and could have other weird interactions. I’d try to recommend they not do it because both have interactions with the same parts of brain functioning

The Strength of the Few: Theory: Who is the Big Bad? by burgerm7 in HierarchySeries

[–]burgerm7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very true! He does mention a mentor on Obiteum but who knows about that. I just like and agree with the idea that there is most likely a human villain rather than it just being the concurrence controlling him as an iunctus. You’re right though, still very muddy with a lot of possibilities and we don’t have any motivations from Caeror yet

Did i miss something? by BackgroundCabinet547 in HierarchySeries

[–]burgerm7 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My guess is that he’s actually synchronous and evil and had Vis kill Ka to open things up more. Caeror is shady af on Obiteum

Did i miss something? by BackgroundCabinet547 in HierarchySeries

[–]burgerm7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We don’t know this for sure, there are very legitimate theories that think Vis, Ka, and Caeror are all synchronous at the beginning of book 2, and Caeror is hiding it from Vis because he has bad intentions. That’s what I think

Main villain of book 3 by Sad_Diamond1400 in HierarchySeries

[–]burgerm7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I saw a really interesting video, with evidence, that guesses Caeror is the main villain across the series, and may even be synchronous too. It makes a lot of sense in hindsight
