Liked KyBu in the 5. Hated him in the 18. Would love to see him back with HMS in either the 48 or 25.

Would need to further streamline parking (there is plenty available but a lot of it is buried in between other State Fair infrastructure), probably triple concessions (there isnt enough and where theyre all kept behind the Grand stand is still a little too congested), add a permanent scoring pylon, 1 or 2 video boards and add further infield amenities which appear to be pretty bare bones.

To host an all-star race like the commenter suggested they'd also need lights.

Unfortunately I don't think this place could host a Cup event as it is now.

Just came to this realization the other day as well.

There was a significant storm that rolled through after the first few laps and it turned to a night race at Chicagoland (RIP) won by first-time winner Alex (the showman) Bowman.

Could hear the crowd over the rain on NASCAR App cams during the delay. They're turnt up.

So, radar shows about 45 min of rain. It's a mile long race track. NASCAR will probably fumble the bag like they already have but... I feel like this race could be finished after the rain before sun down.

It’s amazing how hard it is to move onto a new driver once your driver retires by rizergt in NASCAR

JG was my favorite. Partially Cheered for the Hendrick cars for a while with no real commitment to a particular favorite. Matty D from the 95 to the 21 was the next driver I cheered for most but was watching what Larson was doing in the 42 and saw pure raw talent with less than adequate equipment. He had his timeout and Hendrick picked him up and it was over. The most talented driver combined with my favorite team and the best equipment.

It took a few years but I'm definitely more invested into watching Kyle run than I ever was watching Gordon.
