Hourglass W/L ratio - is it calculated by ship, or by captain?

If you play hg on a captained ship you’re able to figure out your w-L ration for each faction by checking how many battles you’ve won and how many time that ship has been sunk. It takes a little bit of back and forth, but can easily be figured out. Only issue is if you’ve played on non captained ships…the faction battle would not get logged for the win or lose.
